Yesterday my family attended the special gathering to welcome the New CD of Asia in Kawasaki City, Japan. We left our place Shizuoka at 10:00 a.m. and after a 2 hour drive we arrived safely at the place of the gathering with God's help amidst heavy rain and wind.
The gathering starts at 1:00 p.m. More than a hundred gathers including children even some brothers from far places, like Northern Japan also came. Mr. Dante Negre being the emcee, Mr. Edgar Nacorda led the opening prayer, Mrs. Masumi Cruz and Rev.Pak introduce Dr. Yong (New CD)
Dr. Yong told us that he prefers to be called doctor rather than reverend or appa and his wife to be called aamonim so that we can have a brother relationship together with him.
During the speech Dr. Yong used English and sometimes used Japanese. Sometimes he confirmed the meaning in Japanese from his wife speaking in Korean. Mrs. Masumi Cruz and Samonim are the interpreters/translators. During the meeting Dr. Yong and Samonim spoke in 3 languages It's amazing that this couple is multi- lingual. He encouraged Filipinos to learn Japanese well and for Japanese wife to learn English for better communication within the family.
Dr. Yong gave the successful missionary works in Oceania dealing with high level people. In the welcome party in Thailand, they have a very nice peace embassy to welcome their guests as well as a resort and a big boat that can be used for fishing, meetings and conducting seminars.
The second part of the program was Dr. Yong giving a lecture on God's Final Time Table, Pacific Rim Era and the role of a woman and mother; How to overcome the 4 trials in order for great fortune to come; and the 10 points of tradition. Dr. Yong has a very good sense of humor that sometimes everybody laugh during his lecture and also very serious when explaining about TP's, faith, providence, or internal matters.
Finally he gave a very nice word of TP's in Japanese or Chinese character.
They were happy to meet us, and promise that they will be coming to educate Filipino-Japanese couples in Japan by August.
We have our group picture-taking before Dr. Yong and Samonim were leaving. They are extending their hands for each and everyone. It's a happy gathering for each and everyone including my family. It's worth being there and I did not feel tired on my back-and-forth long drive.
