The Words of the Elder Family |
Maybe it has already appeared. I cancelled my subscription in 2010.
The Kwak Group is circulating some disinformation to Unification Church members in Korea and Japan. If past patterns hold true, they will translate it into English and distribute it in the English-speaking world soon.
Their document they are circulating in Japan and Korea comes under the title, "Shocking Japanese media report". The content pretends that influential Japanese media have published an important article criticizing every member of the True Family, except for one. Guess who that "ONE" is.
The document does not identify the supposedly influential Japanese media by name. It turns out, this omission is probably not by accident. The Japanese church keeps close track of reports about our church in the Japanese media, and their research has turned up just one media that carried this article. This is an online publication called the "Ya Ya Daily Cult Newspaper". Their relationship to the sisterhood by a similar name has not yet been determined.
The newspaper was founded in October 2009 by lawyers and Christian ministers who make a living attacking the Unification Church, and scaring parents of members into paying them to deprogram their children.
The Kwak Group has already translated it into Korean, and posted it on their Korean website. I'm sure someone is making good money translating it into English.
In my opinion, it represents a new low for the Kwak Group -- and World Ties, too, if it carries it.
