Dear Brothers and Sisters,

One of our brothers once observed that True Parents live at the speed of life. And "life-speed" is very fast.

Loving Life Ministry, initiated by Reverend In Jin Moon, is moving like a fast forward newsreel, racing toward the year 2013. Can you feel it?

In the D.C. Metro Area, our three church communities have already begun to unite to create a new spirit which is substantial. Even though I got lost the first time trying to find the location, once we got there it felt like home.

Many people have shared with me that they feel something special on Sunday as we gather together. Let's keep that spirit going and add to it.

We already have a good foundation in Maryland with many Youth Ministry activities. Those will not be lost but will keep going the other 6 days of the week. In fact, once a month the young people from DC and VA join the Word Up program and enjoy wider fellowship.

Sunday Night Lights is getting better and better as the band becomes more professional and the food is always good!

We have an amazing resource in the building at Columbia Road in D.C. which could become a hub of activity and creativity for the young adult crowd going forward.

Sunday worship with fellowship meetings afterward can support and add to our existing programs.

And of course, we must continue to develop small group ministries in our local areas where we live and work, reaching out to others who may feel "left out". Meeting, sharing and praying together while working toward a clear purpose is one of the best ways for us to grow and mature spiritually and materially.

Inviting someone new to worship with us is life giving and exciting. Try it, you will be surprised to find your friends may have just been waiting for you to ask.

Then, when we gather together on Sunday to hear from our Senior Pastor, we will have something to offer up to God, our Heavenly Parent.

See you Sunday...

Pastor Matt Goldberg and Marianne
