Before the Matching in Chung Pyung the Europeans had a Blessing WS in Schmitten. We were 27 sisters and 24 brothers. On Saturday 05.02.2005 the WS started. It was really good for us Europeans so we could build up relationships before going to Chung Pyung, what was important so we could support each other in CP better. I think that we all really enjoyed listening to the different Lectures and Testimonies from the 1st and 2nd Generation. I felt so much love from the whole Staff they really invested so much because they wanted us to go well-prepared to the Matching and Blessing.

Then finally on Monday 07.02.2005 our plane left for Korea. I was so nervous at the airport. All these worries who will be my spouse? How is everything going to be? But luckily somehow I was able to relax and just trust God that everything will work out. As we arrived in CP I met some American sisters who told me, that there were about 60 sisters too many. First I worried, but then I felt like being in God's womb. What ever happens it will be fine, because I'm protected. After dinner we gathered in the small hall and waited until the program would start. After a while they told us that True Father wanted to talk to us and that we should dress up. Of course many of us were already thinking that we might get matched this evening. So after getting ready, we went to the 3rd floor where True Parents live. First True Father talked for a while and then he started matching. I felt more like a bystander, because I didn't really expect to be matched, since there were 60 sisters more than brothers. I was lucky that my spouse was there. And I was matched to K.B. His father is Dutch and his mum is Nigerian. At the moment he is on his 2nd year of STF Europe.

All the matched couples went downstairs to the small hall, where someone explained to us about meaning of this special blessing. Then the announcement came that the blessing was going to take place the next day and of course everybody was shocked. Then we got the chance to talk to our future spouse. We were surprised, that True Father basically matched Westerners to Westerners and Asians with Asians. I'm really glad that True Father matched this way, because now we European couples can support each other.

In the morning we had HDH with TPs. It was the New Year's Day of the Chinese calendar. As it is a custom that the children receive money on this day everyone of us got 100,000 won from TPs. The HDH ended in dancing and singing with a great atmosphere. After breakfast a Korean brother Yang Shin Kim talked to us about building an ideal family. That morning I was so spaced out it took me ages to get dressed. I was so stressed and I thought I don't want to get blessed having so much stress, but anyway I got blessed. Before the actual Ceremony we had to rehearse the whole ceremony so many times and it seems to me that the rehearsals were three times longer then the actual blessing ceremony. A special experience was, when we (the couples) turned around to bow to the audience and just two rows behind us was Dae Mo Nim sitting and she smiled and I felt so much love coming from her.

Even though I wasn't really able to enjoy the whole blessing ceremony, I am happy that I was matched and blessed by True Parents.
