The Words of the Herd Family |
I wanted to bring to light some of my experiences during the Blessing on January 31st, 2009. I was matched by True Parents to a beautiful and amazing French sister. I feel that I can be no less than grateful to True Parents for eternity. Could there ever be any greater pride than to say, "I was matched and given God's Blessing directly through the True Parents"? This is something I can be proud of before descendants, before the nation of my birth and before the world and cosmos for all of providential history and eternity to follow.
Through this Matching and Blessing bestowed by True Parents, my heart has opened to a new realm and my eyes given new light in which to pursue a fresh and gleaming direction in my life. I feel that in my life my greatest aspirations, dreams and desires are not impossible. Rather, they are even more possible because of this Blessing. As it was written, I have been born anew, "not by the blood or flesh of man, but by God." (John 1.12-13) I have only to look at the face of my match to confirm that True Parents are the King and Queen of Peace, and that our Heavenly Father works through them.
Through True Parents Blessing, the doors are opened wide. We no longer live in an era where evil prospers and good is repelled and forsaken. Through the Blessing, you can achieve anything in your life. And for Heavenly Father's sake, I have no other purpose to my existence now than to give all of my life, all of my energy, and all of my devotion to God and True Parents. I will carry any cross, and lay it to rest and peace, for my True Parents, my messiah, and above all, the True Father and Mother who have offered up everything, from their blood, sweat, and tears, to realize a world where peace can reign. Is it not fitting and understanding that I emulate my Father and Mother in their endeavors? Is it not fitting that I would willingly follow their path to bring them pride for their children? Is it not fitting to make this world a place where God can say: "My children, I have finally come Home!" I pray that I may live my life everyday as a reflection of the Heavenly Father, and that I may one day hear his words: "I am proud of you my son."
I wish to offer this up to our Heavenly Father, our True Parents, and those who have gone before on the Trail of Tears to lay the road on which I now walk. I wish to say, "Thank You, for all you have done. I no longer fear obstacles in my way. I can do anything and everything, all because you have empowered me to stand. Now I know what it means to be raised up in your True Love, educated in your True Love, and given an amazing match to whom I can say with all my heart, strength, and soul: 'I will love with True Love! There is nothing I cannot do because you have strengthened, emboldened, and empowered me!!! I will go to the ENDS OF THE EARTH to love you as God Loves you most!!!'
Thank You True Parents, Thank You Heavenly Father, and Thank You to everyone who had gone before me in building the ground that I now stand upon with sweat and tears! Now, I can truly say, with tears in my eyes and a heart of gratitude the depth of an ocean: "FREE AT LAST! FREE AT LAST! THANK GOD ALMIGHTY, WE ARE FREE AT LAST!!!"
