Dear Family,

Last night, Friday, March 9th, at 9:10 pm, Mrs. Sumiko Miyagi, a beloved wife, mother and our sister, passed away after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Ted and her five children: Takayasu, Shuhei, Yoshikuni, Yuka and Mika. The Miyagi's are part of the 1,800 couples Blessing and are best known as the hosts of the Nikkei Parents' Day, perhaps the largest Parents' Day celebration in America.
