One day in Wales before I was Blessed I was talking with my 2nd Generation spiritual father about the Blessing and the relationship between husband and wife. He told me that when he got matched, his Father-in-law gave him some very important advice that he since came to understand in an 'I must fulfill my own portion of responsibility in order to help my wife fulfill hers' kind of way.
Sharing this same advice with me, he said: "Do not underestimate the subjectivity you have over your wife!"
I got Blessed, and a couple of years later I also have come to understand this in an 'I must fulfill my own portion of responsibility in order to help my wife fulfill hers' kind of way. I conclude: Brothers, we must fulfill our own portions of responsibility in order to help our wives fulfill theirs!
