Mr. Pumphreys is such a Pillar of the American Movement; he was among the first hand full of members ever to join.

I had some conversations with him last year and considered each one a treasure.

He was the most down-to-earth humble guy. He causally recalled that when Father visited Denver Co. in 1965, he stayed at Galen's house, and Galen drove Father to see Boulder Co in his own 1952 Chevy.
