The Words of the Weber Family |
First of all, if you have a chance to see the Lovin' Life Ministry and hear In Jin Nim speak, definitely take the opportunity to do it. It is something to see live and in person!!! Those of us in the Washington D.C. area had a chance to host the Lovin' Life Ministry on Sunday, January 16.
When the notice came out that Lovin' Life would be held in Crystal City in Virginia, which just borders Virginia, Washington D.C. and Maryland, our family started making preparations to go. I also knew that Sandy (Saori) Ureta, who is a member of this site, whom I have been in contact with for quite some time now, lives in Baltimore. I sent her a message and found out that she and her family were coming down, and we made plans to meet at the event.
The service was held in a beautiful ballroom at a local hotel, which is smaller than the Manhattan Center where it is usually held. But it is still very nice. The band is absolutely extraordinary to hear live. And, seeing In Jin Nim speak in person was wonderful.
When the service was over, our family and the Ureta Family got together, and we got to meet Sandy, her husband, and her children for the first time. It is always great to actually meet someone who you have been writing to but have never met before.
We visited for some time, and then I found out that In Jin Nim was greeting everyone up front in the auditorium. When she does this, she stays and greets every last person who wants to meet her. My wife Diana and I got into line and waited to greet her. We introduced ourselves and had our picture taken with her by one of the photographers that was covering the event. As an offering, I gave her a couple of short inspirational things I had written, "Imagine If….", and my short one page story "The Prayer."
It was a wonderful experience. I hope that everyone gets a chance to see the Lovin' Life Ministry at least once.
God bless everyone involved in the ministry!
