Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I am pleased to invite you and your family to participate in the GPF - International Family Convention on December 11, 2008 at the Manila Hotel, Metro Manila, Philippines.

The International Family Convention is one of the Main Event of the Global Peace Festival in Manila scheduled on December 11-14, 2008.

The objectives of the International Family Convention:

1. To serve as a showcase of the Ideal Blessed Families around the world, the fruits of the International and Inter-cultural Marriage Blessing by our True Parents.

2. To promote camaraderie and friendship among Blessed Families worldwide.

3. To have reunion among members, and gain inspirations through the activities.

4. To invite FFWPU Int’l President, Dr. Hyung Jin Moon as the main speaker for the Family Convention.

On Dec. 13, Convention participants will join the GPF parade with their various traditional attire or national costumes representing their ethnicity, cultural or country of origin. Therefore, the participants are advised to bring their national or traditional costumes for the parade. For Filipino participants, Barong Tagalog or formal attire is acceptable.

Attached in the next pages are the schedules of activities, five options for the cost of participation, and contact information in the Philippines.

Please sign up for the “GPF - Family Convention Registration Form” and send your payment in advance not later than Nov. 16 in order we can confirm your participation and reservation of your hotel accommodation.

Guidelines for the Convention Participants: (More details information will follow)

1) The GPF Organizers will invite all the Blessed Central Families around the world to participate in the 4 Days event of the GPF Manila 2008 particularly in the Family Convention. The target number of participants are 3,000 individuals or 1,500 couples and the event will be held at the Manila Hotel’s Tent City.

First Day on Dec. 11, the registration will start from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and in the afternoon from 1:00 pm. -- 8:00 p.m., speeches of VIP’s, testimonies and cultural presentation will be conducted.

We are planning to invite FFWPU Int’l. President Dr. Hyung Jin Moon to be our main

Speaker for the Family Convention.

2) Second Day, Dec. 12, at 10:00 a.m., the Convention participants will proceed to the different Barangays for immersion and participate for the “Adopt the Barangay Program”.

Each participating couple should present gifts and or give GPF t-shirts to the 4 - 12

Couples in the Barangay residence as their contact.

They have to conduct cultural and fellowship activities, serve lunch and dinner sponsored by host family and if possible sleep at the house of your adopted “Family”.

3) Third day, Dec.13 the host family should plan to sponsor breakfast, lunch, dinner and do home church activities such as cleaning by 6:00 am.

In the morning, (time to be finalized) on a rented jeepney, they will proceed to the venue to join the parade for the main event, wearing a traditional national attire or costume and bringing along with them either pot lock lunch and dinner or simply wrap food ( rice ball, hamburger or hot dog). The dinner for December 13, will be shouldered by the convention participants.
