Glory to God!
True Parents are now leading the Speaking Tour in Europe at the risk of their lives with sincere devotion, prayer and heart. (April 29th -- May 19th) Europe is the fountainhead of the Western culture which established the modern civilization. It is also the parent of democracy based on Christianity and the central continent in the 2000-year history of Christianity after Jesus Christ.
Let's think about the meaning of this Speaking Tour based on True Parents' words. Father says in his speech this time, "What I am about to proclaim to you today is part of the course of True Parents' tour that is to proclaim the ultimate conclusion and fulfillment of all aspects of the providence of restoration during the lifetime of the True Parents. … On April 18 we celebrated our 52nd year of marriage. On that occasion, I brought to a close the era before the coming of heaven, which was marked by sin and indemnity [atonement], and proclaimed the era after the coming of heaven through which a new heaven and new earth will be realized by returning to true love. … I pray that you will all become the representatives and heirs of True Parents before the conclusion of the Cosmic Assemblies for the Settlement of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind and for the Proclamation of the Word by God's Substantial Self. Please take heed of my autobiography, which is a record of my life's work to enable the True Parents to succeed in their mission during their time on this earth, and build on my achievements. Please also inherit the teachings I have bestowed upon this world. In doing so, I pray that you will surely be triumphant in your course of life.
Like the True Parents have done, you too should become heavenly bridges for all your relatives and the members of your clan that are around you, and also a God-centered leader who can guide your clan to God's kingdom."
True Parents will conclude the Speaking Tour this time at the final assembly in Las Vegas on May 21st. In such a meaningful month of May, let's totally offer sincere devotion in order to fulfill God's wish and push ahead with the ideal of establishing Cheon Il Guk.
A. International Official Letter (5/4 solar)
"On April 18 (3.16 by the Heavenly Calendar in the Second Year of the Heavenly Foundation), the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, on the 51st anniversary of their Holy Wedding, offered a Hoon Dok Hae devotion that lasted for over twelve hours, during which time True Parents did not even drink a sip of water, in order to re-proclaim the Age After the Coming of Heaven. This signifies the completion of restoration through indemnity during the Age Before the Coming of Heaven and the Age of Returning to God. Father explained that it is the age in which the positions of Adam and Eve that God hoped for before the Fall have been sought and established." This was True Parents' proclamation.
B. At the Hoon Dok Hae on that day, True Parents read twice, adding explanation, the speech of the "Cosmic Assembly for the Settlement of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind and for the Proclamation of the Word by God's Substantial Self," and the third reading was done by Mrs. McDevitt. Then True Parents spoke to Rev. Hyung Jin Moon, the International President. True Parents said, "When the Era Before the Coming of Heaven is changed to the Era After the Coming of Heaven, it is necessary to live a life of 'Settlement at Noon.' You have to live a life without any shadows from the top of your head to the tip of your toe." Concerning motivation, they said, "You have to think of True Parents first. Do you think of your children more than True Parents?" They spoke about donation, "It is not good that you use your money for what you need and make a donation from the leftover." True Parents gave these precious words. After the 12-hour Hoon Dok Hae, True Parents dressed up for the celebration of the anniversary of their Holy Wedding. After True Parents had made such a historical proclamation in Las Vegas, they went back to Korea to hold the "Cosmic Assembly for the Settlement of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind and for the Proclamation of the Word by God's Substantial Self" in Korea. Then, they left Korea for Europe.
C. The "Cosmic Assembly for the Settlement of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind and for the Proclamation of the Word by God's Substantial Self" in Korea
From Korea, True Parents began the world speaking tour for proclaiming the ultimate conclusion and fulfillment of the providence of restoration.
The "Cosmic Assembly for the Settlement of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind and for the Proclamation of the Word by God's Substantial Self" in Korea was held at Convensia, Songdo in Inchon, Korea on March 22 (heavenly calendar, 4/24/2011 solar) at 11:00 am, with 12,000 church members and Ambassadors for Peace attending. That day, Father spoke for almost two hours and asked all participants to practice his words in their daily life.
Father already proclaimed the "Era After the Coming of Heaven" on May 5, 2004. What is the difference between the Era After the Coming of Heaven on May 5, 2004 and this time? Father says in his speech this time, "Through this tour, I am leading a lifestyle befitting the era after the coming of heaven. Please engrave this point in your hearts." It seems to mean that the Era After the Coming of Heaven is now being expanded substantially toward East, West, South and North and Up, Down, Left and Right.
According to Professor Oh's explanation of the providence, "Father proclaimed 3 phases of the 4-year course from 2001 to 2012: the first 4-year course from 2001 to 2004; the second 4-year course from 2005 to 2008; the third 4-year course from 2009 to 2012. The first 4-year course was the period for establishing the foundation of faith vertically. The second 4-year course was the period to establish the foundation of substance, which was a horizontal foundation for establishing Cheon Il Guk. Finally, the third 4-year course is the age of God's sovereignty and the period for substantializing Cheon Il Guk."
Father proclaimed "Ssang Hap Sip Seung Il" on May 5, 2004 at Yeosu and said that the "Era Before the Coming of Heaven" was changed to the "Era After the Coming of Heaven." At that time, he seemed to proclaim the beginning of the "Era After the Coming of Heaven." However, the significance of the proclamation on March 16 (heavenly calendar) this year (2011) is different from that in 2004.
True Parents' victory now in 2011 is much bigger than that in 2004. When we look back on the year 2010, there were True Parents' golden wedding anniversary, universalization of the Seung Hwa Ceremony, offering of the 8 major textbooks and teaching materials, the beginning of the age of the heavenly calendar, and the "World Assembly to Proclaim the Embodiment of God's Word and the Era of the Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind." Father proclaimed that God's fatherland was Korea. Now is the age of God's direct dominion.
The proclamation this year was made at the 51st anniversary of True Parents' Holy Wedding, so it was proclaimed in the position of overcoming the number 50. As Father says in his speech, "I am leading a lifestyle befitting the era after the coming of heaven," the proclamation this time means that the victorious lifestyle of the Era After the Coming of Heaven will be expanded. In other words, it means the proclamation of the conclusion of the Era After the Coming of Heaven. Therefore, through the proclamation, the rapid cleansing of the sinful world will happen, and if we fulfill our responsibility through our practice, God's foundation will be dynamically established in an unimaginable speed and scale. We have entered into such an age. Then, let's think of our attitude in this age.
(1) Always Listen to God's Voice
In Jin Nim says to us again and again during the services of Lovin' Life Ministries that we should throw away the thinking and lifestyle in the Era Before the Coming of Heaven and in the age of the wilderness course, and change it to the lifestyle in the Era After the Coming of Heaven. She not only speaks the words but she also exemplifies the attitude in the age of Cheon Il Guk.
At the service on March 27, she emphasized the importance of listening to God's voice at any time:
--- One of the quotes that I like to remind myself of when I'm confronted with things I did not plan for is Jeremiah 29:11. … Many times God asks things of us that do not factor into our plans. This quote is a reminder for all of us to do our part, our 5-percent responsibility of preparing our lives to receive, but also to leave a space for God, our Parent in heaven, to work His and Her mysterious magic, and not to be so locked into our plans that we have no space for God. When we lock ourselves into plans in a petrified manner, God will test and push us, and encourage us to grow. When that happens, that's our time to step up to the plate and heed God's calling, listen to the voice that's in our heart. Despite our plans, our goodwill, and our thinking that we know better, we need to listen to that inner voice. We need to listen to the voice of God. --- (from Rev. In the Era After the Coming of Heaven, we should always live with God, True Parents, and Absolute Good Spirits, so this sermon has an important meaning.
(3) Let's Live in Complete Unity with True Parents
True Parents already showed us how to live in True Father's speech entitled "Borderline" which he gave on June 29, 1969:
What do you think I want you to do? To make a foundation through which we can go out to the world. Then, we have to make all human beings inherit God's will. Therefore, when you follow me, you cannot follow me with a secular concept. You and I need to attain complete unity and transcend the limitation of the environment wherever we go, east or west.
We have to establish the heartistic standard of wanting to eat together and live together. We have to be like a cell. We need to know that the biggest problem we have to solve is to be united with each other and overcome the borderline. When we have our meals, sleep, or go and come, our goal should be to fulfill that purpose. We have to be united with each other with this conviction. ---
Also, True Parents said at Hoon Dok Hae in Las Vegas on March 16 (heavenly calendar), "Hoon Dok Hae is important. To do Hoon Dok Hae in daily life is the most important attendance to True Parents."
True Parents will lead the "Special Education by True Parents for National Messiahs and Boon-Bong-Wangs" from May 19 to 24 in Las Vegas. Through the education of the leaders who represent the whole world, True Parents are making a condition for forgiving all blessed families and making them start anew. The official letter on May 4 says, "At such times the National Messiahs and Boon-bong-wangs no longer have the right of command that they had in the Age Before the Coming of Heaven. However, they cannot be abandoned since they have worked hard for God's will. Thus, they are to complete the Original Divine Principle education in the Age After the Coming of Heaven so that Father can appoint them as Original Divine Principle educators. In this spirit, True Parents have instructed that special education be held for National Messiahs and Boon-bong-wangs."
Now is the time of heavenly fortune when True Parents' great victory is expanded in all directions. True Parents want us to start anew toward the conclusion of establishing Cheon Il Guk. Let's unite with this heart of True Parents and march forward with utmost sincere devotion in this month of April (heavenly calendar). We will start the Kodan condition of sincere devotion in April of the heavenly calendar as follows. I pray that many brothers and sisters will participate in this.
Period: From April 12 (Sat) to May 2 (Fri) (heavenly calendar)
From May 14 (Sat) to June 3 (Fri), 2011 (solar calendar)
Condition:
1. 21-minute prayer
2. To recite "Chambumonim (True Parents), Eog-Mansei" (more than 12 minutes, if possible, longer, with the music of Rev. Hyung Jin Moon)
Purpose: (To fulfill the mission of Japanese members in America, corresponding to the 40-day condition of sincere devotion in America)
1. For the long life and safety of the True Parents
2. For the True Family (for the safety and victory of all True Children centering on Rev. and Mrs. Hyung Jin Moon)
3. To fulfill the mission of America, the Elder Son Nation, being united with In Jin Nim's heart, ideal and vision centering on Lovin' Life Ministries
4. For the thoroughgoing life of Hoon Dok Hae
5. For the victory of distributing 120,000 copies of True Parents' autobiography in Las Vegas; For the victory of each family's distributing 430 copies
6. To put Father's words into practice for the substantial victory of all activities in total cooperation with the spirit world
7. To fulfill the mission and responsibility of Japanese members in America --- for the victory of Mother-Son Cooperation
8. For the victory of the Tribal Messiah activities (Cain-type and Abel-type)
9. For the unity of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd generations centering on the True Family; To find new candidates for the blessing through the unity of the three generations
10. For the victory of Kodan activities and donation in May.
