We pray for God and True Parents' blessing and love to be with all nations and as we create the sacred reign of peace in Cheon Il Guk, the realm of cosmic peace.
This is to announce the details of the matching ceremony that will be officiated by the True Parents for the 7th phase of the International Cross-cultural Blessing of 400 Million Couples to be held on July 5. Regional presidents and national leaders should do their utmost in the preparations for the ceremony.
1. Preparations for the Matching Ceremony for First Generation Candidates
1. Matching Ceremony for First Generation Candidates: A photo matching is planned to be held on June 23, 2007 (Details will be announced at a later date.)
2. Qualifications
1) Age Range
For single candidates: Those who are at least 20 years old and not older than 37.
(Note: Those who wish to receive the blessing but who are below the age of 20 should attach a letter of consent from their parents and national leader (in Korea it should be from the sub-regional leader; in Japan it should be from the bloc leaders); those who are over the age of 37 should attach a recommendation letter from their national leader.)
2) Required conditions concerning the candidate's faith
(1) Precondition
The candidate must agree to the Federation's ideal of creating a peaceful world through the true family ideal.
The candidate must respect the True Parents and pledge to uphold the purity of true love.
The candidate must pledge to perfect the true family ideal by practicing true love.
The candidate must have been in the church for at least two months and have been to the church on average of more than two times.
The candidate must pledge to abstain from alcohol and smoking
3) Documents to submit
(1) Application Form for Blessing Candidates (Attachment 1)
(2) Written Pledge to Participate in the Blessing Ceremony (Attachment 2)
(3) Certificate stating that the candidate is unmarried (Certificates must have been issued no later than three months)
(4) Photo
Size: 8 x 10 inch (20 x 25 cm)
One full length photo and one photo of the head and shoulder
(5) Copy of receipt for blessing fee
(6) Certificate stating that the candidate completed a 3 day Divine Principle workshop (The certificate is good for 2 years)
(7) Certificate stating that the candidate completed a 7 day education (This is only for candidates who wish to be matched to a Japanese partner. This certificate can be substituted if the candidate has officially taken part in a 3 day workshop twice, or a 40 day workshop at Chung Pyung, or is a graduate from the department of theology at Sun Moon University, or is a STF member, or completed a corresponding education course.)
(8) Copy of a certificate stating that the candidate completed a 2 day education (on the blessing) organized by the national headquarters
(9) Health certificate (must be issued within the past 6 months)
(10) Certified Test Results for HIV-AIDS
(11) Certificate of employment
(12) Certificate of final education (must have a high school education or higher)
(13) Certificate of enrollment (if the candidate is a student)
3. Matters to consider when recommending a candidate
1) Leaders should verify candidates through faith guidance and recommend candidates who they can be responsible for.
2) Leaders should recommend candidates who display a heart of absolute obedience to the matching and blessing, and who can fully carry out his or her responsibility to his or her family after the blessing.
3) Leaders should confirm whether a candidate's level of faith and character is up to the standard before recommending the candidate.
(1) Candidates who broke their previous blessing cannot be recommended as a blessing candidate for the following categories: single, single (divorced, widowed), married couple.
(2) Please pay particular attention not to admit to the matching people who are mentally ill, epileptic or who suffer from an incurable disease or who are financially incompetent. Candidates who are carriers of contagious diseases (hepatitis B, hepatitis C, etc) should be treated before being recommended and be given special attention.
(3) Please do not admit to the matching people who broke their previous blessing by falling.
(4) Please do not admit to the matching people who broke their previous blessing and are suspect to do so again for the same reason.
(5) Please pay particular attention not to admit to the matching alcoholics, people who smoke, people involved in gambling, and criminals
(6) People whom the local church leader deems to be unfit for the matching should also be excluded.
4. The matching for first generation candidate will be a photo matching.
5. Administrative preparations for the matching for first generation candidates
1) Regional headquarters and national headquarters should log-in to the Cheon Il Guk Information Management System (www.cheonilguk.net) which was announced on June 4 and register the material for all first generation matching candidates by June 22. Candidates that have already been matched should be registered into the matching system using the provided function.
2) Leaders who still do not have a user account for the Cheon Il Guk Information Management System should fill out the application form attached to the official memo FFWPUI 2007-25-Revised and send it in to receive your ID.
3) The candidates' photo should be registered into the Cheon Il Guk Information Management System; stickers with the candidate's information can be printed and attached to the front and back of the photo.
2. Preparations for the Matching Ceremony for Second Generation Members
1. Qualifications are from the Cheon Il Guk Blessing (designated for the matching by True Parents held in December 2004)
1) 1st Qualification (Purity): Second generation members who have proudly preserved the purity of their lineage and who have had no girlfriend/boyfriend relationship with the opposite sex.
2) 2nd Qualification (Absolute Faith): Absolute faith to accept True Parents' match without question and not break it.
3) 3rd Qualification (International Blessing): Willingness to receive international Blessing to create one global family (international blessing)
4) 4th Qualification (Public Activities): Determination to commit oneself for thirty months of public activities after the blessing.
5) 5th Qualification (No Previous Engagement): Those who are receiving the blessing for the first time. (Those who have never been previously matched or blessed.)
6) 6th Qualification (Good Health): Those who have no special physical or psychological problems.
2. Age range: Those who are at least 17 years old and not older than 23. (as of July 5, 2007) (Note: An announcement will be given at a later date for candidates who are not included in this age range, and for second generation members who were blessed before but did not start family and are now single.)
3. The matching for second generation candidate will be done in person.
4. Venue: Chunga Camp, Korea
5. Second generation candidates should arrive at Chunga Camp no later than the evening of June 29.
6. Required education and fasting condition
1) Candidates must have completed a seven-day Divine Principle workshop or an education course of the same level or one of the following courses: (Excluding the Jr. STF and STF courses, candidates must have completed these courses within the past two years.)
Seven-day workshop organized by national headquarters, or Chung Pyung workshops
Complete two three-day Divine Principle workshops or complete a ten-day evening Divine Principle workshop
Certificate of having completed at least a year of activities in the Jr. STF or STF course.
Certificate of having completed a video-based Divine Principle education (Two Divine Principle hoondok sessions and a video-based education course)
2) Seven-day Fast
Candidates should complete a seven-day fast under their local church leaders' guidance and to indicate that they have completed the fast on their application form
Candidates who are unable to do a seven-day fast due to health problems can substitute for a 21-day morning fast
7. Documents to Prepare
1) Second generation blessing application form
2) Written Pledge to Participate in the Blessing Ceremony
3) Recommendation letter from church leader
4) Confirmation stating that the candidate qualifies for the Cheon Il Guk Blessing standard
5) Photos: two are required, both 8 x 10 inch (one full length, one head and shoulders)
6) Receipt for blessing fee
7) Receipt certifying full payment of family fees by candidate's parents
This may vary depending on each nation. Nations that do not have a 'blessed family fee' system in place should encourage all blessed families to pay 'Blessed Family Fee' and strengthen the operations of the Family Department in each nation's headquarters. Blessed Family Fees should be utilized in supporting blessed families within the Cheon Il Guk system and in promoting the Blessing. The obligation of paying a 'Blessing Family Fee' should be established in each nation as the tradition of Cheon Il Guk. The amount of the fee should be determined depending on the economic level of each nation and should be a multiple of the number 12. All blessed families should be encouraged to pay a 'Blessing Family Fee.' More details of this fee will be announced at a later date.
8) Citizen's registration or birth certificate
9) Family register (i.e. official family tree record), if possible
10) Certificate of graduation from school/college

13) Results from AIDS examination
14) Certificate stating that the candidate is unmarried
8. Deadline for applications
Second generation blessing application forms should be submitted to the national headquarters and screened. The results should be registered along with the other necessary documents into the Cheon Il Guk Information Management System by June 28. Leaders who are in need of a user ID for the Cheon Il Guk Information Management System should fill out the application form and submit it. IDs will be immediately issued. Nations with slow internet access or who have difficulties in registering the candidates' information should send the material to the regional headquarters or to the International Headquarters to be inputted there. After the information is registered the documents and material will be returned to the nation.
3. Consistent report on the preparations of the matching
Nations will not be required to send in reports on the preparations of the matching this time. The Matching System within the Cheon Il Guk Information Management System will automatically give out the statistics of all registered candidates.
4. Preparations for Entering Korea
1. Preparations for entering Korea and requests for invitation letters
Regional presidents and national leaders should have candidates make preparations to come to Korea regardless of the results of their matching. Candidates who require an invitation letter for an entry visit to Korea should send their full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, and passport number to Ms. Shinhye Lee at. When requesting an invitation letter, be sure to send the name, contact number, fax number and e-mail of the contact person of that nation, and please indicate whether the original copy of the invitation letter is required. Please indicate whether you would like the original copy of the invitation letter to be sent by express mail (DHL, EMS, etc). If the invitation letter should be faxed directly to the Korean embassy, please be sure to indicate the fax number and point person in the Korean embassy in your country.
2. Transportation
1) Transportation will be provided for second generation candidates between Incheon International Airport and Chunga Camp.
2) Transportation will be provided for candidates arriving in Korea from June 28-30. (Candidates who arrive before or after this period should prepare transportation on their own.)
3) Assembly point at the Incheon International Airport: All candidates upon arrival should assembly in front of Block F, Gate 14
