May the blessing and love of God and True Parents be with each continent as we usher in the providential era of completing the internal and external ideal of Cheon Il Guk. We are pleased to announce the details for the upcoming cross-cultural blessing ceremony. Continental directors and national leaders should do their utmost in preparing for this historic event.
Method of the Matching Ceremony for the Upcoming Cross-cultural Blessing It was previously announced that the matching will be a photo matching ceremony. Please note that this has been changed; True Parents will match each candidate in person. True Parents recently stated that they will be matching the candidates for the upcoming cross-cultural blessing in person. Blessing candidates from our first and second generations should still also prepare their photos in accordance with the guidelines indicated in official memo FFWPUI 2005-49 (sent on November 27).
Date and Venue for the Matching Ceremony Date: Monday, December 26, 2005 (The exact time is yet to be decided) Expected Venue: Central Training Center, Guri City (near Seoul), Korea
Deadline for Candidates’ Entry to Korea / Duration of Stay All blessing candidates should arrive in Korea by December 25, 2005 (Sunday). As the New Year (January 1, 2006 / Sixth year of Cheon Il Guk) will be four days after the blessing ceremony (to be held Wednesday, December 28), each continent may prepare a program for their members during that period. Each blessing participant may also participate in the True God’s Day celebration on January 1, and the Day of Victory of Love celebration on January 2, depending on the situation of their continent and nation, and their own situation, and if they wish to do so.
The exact venue for blessing candidates to assemble at will be announced at a later date.
Appointment of Continental Staff for the Matching Ceremony To facilitate the proceedings of the upcoming cross-cultural blessing ceremony, continental directors should orient and prepare a continental-level blessing team and have the team members arrive in Korea no later than Tuesday, December 20. They should assemble the next day (December 21) at the FFWPU International Headquarters office in Seoul and participate in a continental staff meeting. Continental directors should appoint their continental staff members. They should compile the details of the appointed staff member personnel according to the form below and report them to the International Headquarters by December 15.

Please note that as of July 1, 2005, the FFWPU International Headquarters Office has moved from the 12th Floor at the Dowon Building in Mapo-gu, Seoul to the 7th Floor of the new FFWPU Headquarters building in Chungpa-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. For the exact address, please refer to the header on the first page of this official memo. (Staff members are encouraged to use the airport limousine bus in getting to Seoul from the Incheon International Airport.)
Blessing Donations In preparing for the upcoming blessing, continental directors should have blessing candidates complete the blessing donation according to the amount indicated below. North America: $2,000 South America: $500 Western Europe: $1,400 Eastern Europe: $500 Middle East: $500 Oceania: Australia & New Zealand: $1,400 / All other countries in Oceania: $100 Asia: Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong: $1,400 / All other Asian countries: $500 Africa: $100 North East Continent: $500
Visa Issues To ensure that all blessing candidates can arrive in Korea by December 25, continental directors and national leaders are asked for their full cooperation in preparing visas for the blessing candidates. Please refer to "4. Preparations for entering Korea" in the official memo FFWPUI-49.
Administrative Matters Continental directors should be constantly updated on the progress of preparations for the blessing from each of their nations, and should report the progress to the International Headquarters according to "3. Periodic reports on the progress of preparations" in the official memo FFWPUI-49.
