Re.: Announcement on Changes in the Closing of Prayer

May the blessing and love of God and True Parents be with each region, nation and providential organization as we usher in the era of the completed settlement of the model providence for the ideal of peace in heaven and on earth. This is to announce a change in the way we close our report prayers. Please conclude your prayers by saying "Aju," instead of "Amen."

1. Changes in the closing of prayer

1) Old way of closing: "Amen"
2) New way of closing: "Aju"
3) Changed on September 14, 2006

2. Overview of True Father's explanation of the change

'Aju' means living in the kingdom of heaven. In other words, my home, in which I serve and attend God, is my inner house. That house is where I live as its center in attendance to God, and is the place where the representative owner lives; ultimately, for human beings, it is the house in their hometown, and, for Heaven, it is the cornerstone of the homeland.

I am the owner of the era of the realm of the heart of the fourth Adam, representing the whole and the best of all things. I must become the owner that perfects heaven and earth. The Chinese character ju, meaning to reside, consists of the Chinese characters in __, meaning person, and ju, meaning lord, and is used in the word keoju, meaning residence. Therefore, aju literally means 'I reside.' You must use 'Aju' at the end of your prayers as an expression of your resolution and pledge to stand in the position representing the Owner who has perfected heaven and earth, and live in attendance to Heaven. With our pledge, 'Aju,' we should find our house, establish our family, our clan, our people, our nation and our world.
