Commemoration of the Day of Victory of Heaven

The 11th Day of Victory of Heaven was celebrated on October 4, 1986, at our church headquarters in Seoul, with our True Parents officiating. President Osami Kuboki of the Japanese church, about 50 dignitaries, and 500 members were in attendance for the morning speech. The title of True Father's sermon was "The Day of Victory of Heaven and Our Responsibility."

In his speech Father urged us to fulfill our responsibility toward the perfection of ourselves, our family, our nation, and the world. He said that this day commemorates the crossing point of sadness and happiness, and that all existing things must be harmonized in order to create the Kingdom of Heaven.

On this day in 1976, Father declared October 4 to be a holy day for the Unification Church. He announced that he had fulfilled all conditions on all levels and that God's side could now go on the offensive. On that day the True Parents could be installed on earth with God at the center. The dispensation of home church was also officially, begun.
