The Words of the Hyun Jin Moon |
During the True Family tour I could attend two events. Firstly the speech of Hyun Jin Nim on the 7th of Sept. in Dusseldorf, Germany, where it was really great to meet him. The most meaningful part for me was during the Hoon Dok Hae the next morning.
I appreciated it so much as I could meet my spouse and Hyun Jin Nim who, as usual, was so dynamic and powerful. I could feel his deep heart of caring for us 2nd Generation especially because he emphasized the importance of STF and Jr. STF. He explained that it is through experiences that you learn how to live for the sake of others; and also how STF is just a preparation time and how CARP is in fact the real life. I could connect so much with this because I finished STF two years ago and am studying now in Belgium. I am grateful for STF as I can see now that studies and CARP activities are quite challenging. He really wanted to inspire CARP brothers and sisters in Europe.
He talked about so many important things: young people are the ones who have lots of Hopes and Dreams thus the spirit and attitude are what matters most and not only physical age; we need to find our keep energy (internal power) to do great things and this will take any fatigue away. He explained that it is not the intellect alone which leads people to act, but the Heart and Love. These things were not new for me but it is good to be reminded of it sometimes The Hoon Dok Hae time ended with songs. I felt I received already so much Blessings during this time but it was not yet the end...Hyun Jin Nim personally invited the 7 Jr. STF Field Educators to have breakfast in the Hotel.
In the morning of the 9th of Sept, after my night journey, I was honored to welcome Yeon Sun Yu at the Airport in Paris. She was so natural and outgoing. When we arrived at the Hotel in Lille, North of France, some blessed families welcomed us. She surprisingly kissed everyone, according to the French custom. Then, we showed her around the city of Lille where we ate the specialty of the North of France: Mussels and Chips. She enjoyed it a lot.
The speech went very well and even though we are normally a small community of around 30 members, the room was filled with about the same number of guests as members. At the end she wanted to take pictures with each family and each guest. They were so touched by her. It was such a privilege to be so close with a member of the True Family. She showed me her heart of devotion for the True Family when we were talking in her room.
To conclude, at the event in Switzerland, which I unfortunately could not attend, one of my guests there who I met during the July mobilization, became an Ambassador of Peace. Thanks to this small experience I felt there is Hope and that what we are doing is not in vain, even if we don't always see the result directly.
Thank you to God, True Family and Everybody for making the success of these events possible.
