One of our sisters’ best
Sarah Witt is laid to rest.
But her spirit, strong and pure
Does not rest, as I am sure.

Will she witness with elation
To a Jewish congregation?
Will her lectures, here and there
Broadcast through celestial air?

Sarah lived and loved us well
Where she went, I cannot tell;
Only this: her journey’s start
Was from deep within our heart.
