W-CARP International Song Contest

Love Music!? Well, here’s a chance to do something really cool! WCARP is hosting its first International Songwriters Contest. We want to hear from talented people out there to help build a new culture in CARP. You can write Hiphop, Rap, Pop, Rock, R&B, Dance, Latin, Gospel, or anything that inspires you.
The winners will be announced through the WCARP newsletter and website, and the Grand Winner will get prize money of $800 and a chance to have the song produced and performed at the next W-CARP Convention.
Here are the competition rules:
* It must be an original work and never been performed publicly.
* Songs should be recorded and emailed in a digital format (MP3, WAV, WMV or MIDI) or if not then an electronically scanned score.
* Lyrics should be typed and attached as DOC, TXT, or RTF files. The lyrics can be in English, Korean or Japanese.
* If the lyric is not in these languages, then the content must be translated into one of the three languages.
* Participants must send in full personal details, name, age, sex, occupation, phone number, mailing address and e-mail address with their entries.
* Email all competition materials to Sam Nagasaka, culture@worldcarp.org
* If these are not available in electronic form, then mail originals to W-CARP HQ in New York at 4 W 43rd St, NY NY 10036.
* All entries must be received by Nov. 11.
* No mores than 5 songs per person.
* Winners will be announced in December
* W-CARP retains the copyrights of the awarded songs.
