October 29, 1997, at noon Rev. Chung Hwan Kwak held an international press conference a the national press club in Washington, DC, explaining the WCSF and the Blessing. At 2.00 pm Mayor Marion Barry gave a press briefing at the city hall to the local press. He invited Rev. Kwak to stay and talk at this press conference, too.
