Day of Victory of Love

Dear Family,

For the Day of Victory Love, True Parents came out in traditional Korean attire looking radiant and full of joy and hope. The Day of Victory of Love began with Hoon Sook Nim and Yeon Ah Nim lighting the candles together in honor of Heung Jin Nim and Hyo Jin Nim. It was a most beautiful and moving ceremony. Hoon Sook Nim read a beautiful message of gratitude for this 26th anniversary of Heung Jin Nim's ascension.

In Jin Nim, Hyun Jin Nim, Hyung Jin Nim, Kook Jin Nim, Sun Jin Nim, Jeon Jin Nim and Kwan Jin Nim attended with spouses and children. True Family members are giving True Parents tremendous joy as they are coming to be anointed by God with central roles in God's providence. Father gave a most warm and loving message while sitting in a chair before us. He gave very deep education about the Cosmic Sabbath of the Parents of heaven and earth and the meaning of each segment of this years new motto. "The proclamation of the era of the victory of absolute sexual ethics, true love and true life in the realm of the cosmic Sabbath of the parents of heaven and earth." The Regional Presidents (Continental Directors) of FFWPU were able to join in a special meeting with our International President Hyung Jin Nim, along with along with Kook Jin Nim and our American Chair, In Jin Nim who each addressed the international leaders on the vision and mission of the Family Federation which focused on witnessing, tithing and church attendance as the key standards by which we can evaluate how we are progressing. Tremendous emphasis was placed on care for members, families and especially uplifting the second generation. Also education as well as transparency for the development toward Cheon Il Guk were emphasized.

A presentation on the Cheon Bok Gung (Unification Temple for World Peace) was given. There is profound significance behind this -- Father is talking about it now in detail. The temple is an historic part of the final chapter of True Parents ministry. It is a temple of God in which all faiths will come together as one in heart. It will be a permanent central place for all people to worship God based on the core teachings of True Parents. Much more will follow concerning the Cheon Bok Gung -- we are in the most exciting 4 year period of True Parent's whole dispensation -- 2009 - 2013 - January 13. I was honored to be asked to attend this with the Regional Presidents and key international leaders centering on True Family.

We also discussed True Father's 90th Birthday Celebration in Seoul and in NY. In will include an International Cross Cultural Blessing and the Commemoration of the founding of the Abel UN. The Birthday celebration begins in Seoul on January 30th with a special luncheon and then pledge ceremony at 5 am on January 31. Just after the morning ceremony, True Parents will fly from Seoul to NY and be there in time to celebrate the 90th Birthday on the same day in both Seoul and NY. The NY Celebration will begin with a the International Blessing Ceremony at 5 pm on Saturday, January 31 at the Manhattan Center and the 7 pm celebration. The 90th Birthday Commemorative Committee has formed with True Family guiding us. (More detail will follow).

The meeting was very uplifting and filled with hope for the new year. As Hyung Jin Nim, In Jin Nim and Kook Jin Nim gave gifts for the new year -- we could feel they were expressing True Parent's love for all members in each continent.

That night the Regional Presidents were invited for a UPF celebration with Hyun Jin Nim. It was also a time of hope and joy for the world providence centering on the Abel UN. Hyun Jin Nim gave warm guidance and appreciation for the success in each continent and encouraged all to support all the work of True Family centering on True Parents. The evening ended with Karaoke and a feeling of great hope for the new year.

True Parents are more secure and confident than ever and True Family is bringing us to new levels of substantial fulfillment of True Parent's heart and desire.

Let us really pray to understand the new Sabbath time for God and True Parents and the essence of the motto for this year. Together with In Jin Nim and our Continental Directors, and all leaders of America. 2009 has begun with the greatest clarity and hope for the realization of God's Peace Kingdom and Ideal Families of True Love.
