True Children giving out the Bibimbap to members, February 22, 2007.

The 7th Global Family Festival (GFF) was held in front of Jeongshim Won in Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center from 2:10 p.m. The GFF is a cultural festival whose aim is to aid the formation of a global family that will create and spread love and peace under the theme of 'One World, One Family.' There were opportunities for the participants to experience various world cultures, Japan, Korea, and Thailand, through their native foods, clothes, handmade crafts, games and performances. Participants were able to enjoy the traditional Korean clothing, Hanbok, and take photos.

There were 6 performances that shared the value of each nation. First performance was performed by the Hanuri Traditional Drum team, then the Himawari team from Japan, where they danced 3 different traditional Japanese dances. 5 ladies from the Philippines performed a traditional dance called 'Usasu'. From the Gyeonyung National Art Center, 2 Korean ladies came and sang few beautiful songs that really cheered up the crowd. Then 5 ladies from Thailand danced a traditional dance 'Wadongtan'. The special message that this dance meant was 'Welcome'. Then the last performance was performed by a group called 'Strong Africa'. The temperature was low, however, as soon as the Strong Africa came on stage and started to sing and dance, the energy and heat spread through the crowd and soon people stood up and were dancing to the rhythm.

Before the main event, the Global Family Bibimbab, there was a drawing of lottery numbers to give out prizes. There were also small games and performances to give out more gifts to the participants.

The mixing of the Bibimbab commenced as soon as we welcomed the members of the True Family. The family of Hyun Jin Nim, Kook Jin Nim, Hyung Jin Nim, and In-Jin Nim came to mix the huge Bibimbap prepared for more than 2000 people. After a good mix by the True Family, all the participants lined up for their Bibimbap and ate it with joy and happiness.
