Note: At the closing ceremony for the 33rd Special 40-Day Workshop for Blessed Wives and 113th Chung Pyung 40-Day Workshop held in the Chinhwa Educational Hall of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center on April 18, 2007, Dae Mo Nim gave detailed information of true postures for a true couple and emphasized when the husband or wife gives love to the other a family of happiness can be achieved. (This Dae Mo Nim's words will be divided into two parts.)

During your 40-Day Workshop how much time did you spend in self reflection? I presume that most of you hadn't had enough time for self reflection when you were with your family.

Here, you wake up in the morning and go to the Holy Ground, attend Holy Song Session, the Hoon Dok Hae, and listen to the words of the Divine Principle. It was difficult to do these, right? Here you can go to the Jeongshim Won (Prayer Hall) and have a precious time of self reflection.

I think that 40-Day Workshop members have many blessings. This is because you are given 40 days of self reflection time. You are able to think about many things and look at many things as well.

Those who attended the 40-Day workshop must have changed thoughts. You must throw away the negative thoughts that you had until now. You must change all your thoughts and think positively from now on. In doing so, you are able to change into a new person.

A long history of more than 6,000 years has passed since Adam and Eve and all of your ancestors of more than 200 generations have lived on earth with fallen nature. It was a history of more negativity rather than living positively.

We also lived negatively until recently. We live our lives centered on fallen nature and also have negative thoughts in carrying out our every day lives. However, we still do not understand; what is fallen nature and what is a negative thought? In other words, we have difficulty understanding the difference between good and evil in our daily lives.

Generally, we all have habits that center on fallen nature. If we open ourselves up, spiritually, from the top of our head to the tip of our toe, open our bones and blood vessels and look at each and every single cell you are able to find human history that was centered on fallen nature.

It is said that we won't find any good habit if we spiritually dissect our body. That's not a very good thing to hear isn't it? However, this is the reality.

That is why you must break and re-create your own self. Through the prayers, words, and Holy Song Sessions you must do your best in re-creating your own self during this 40 days.

Positive thoughts of goodness, that is, if you don't re-create yourself by Absolute Faith then you will return to your old self that centered on evil and fallen nature.

That is why, now is truly an important time. To think positively and change your lifestyle to good, that follows the Divine Principle, it is important to have the thought of gratitude at any given situation.

There will be times when you are really mortified. Also, something that you'd never thought of happening might happen. In those times, those people who bare it with hearts of gratitude will eventually have something good happen to them. If you think negatively, Satan and evil will establish a common base with you, thus, more bad things will happen than good things.

There was a time when God said that 'You are humans that I cannot trust'. This happened because, in our daily lives, we say, 'Why doesn't God give us things that we want? Why doesn't He give us anything when we are offering so much?'

God constantly wants to give us things. However, because we fail to have the give and take action with Him he is unable to give us anything. We must be able to understand the kind of sincere resentment of God.

We would pray to God and promise we will do anything once he has granted our wish. And when He grants our wish we are the sort that takes that grace in the direction that Satan resides. Like that, Satan takes away the grace from God.

We must be able to think positively, be grateful and live the life of Cheon Il Guk. At all levels of our lives we must think positively and live a life of gratitude.

Like the saying, you cannot judge a book by its cover you cannot understand a person by looking at their external qualities. You must look into their internal side to understand what sort of person they are. Also, you must see that person's ancestors to understand that person. It is wrong to decide that this person is someone below you by looking at their external qualities.

This applies to husbands and wives as well. You mustn't think that your husband or wife is insufficient. You were able to receive the blessing because there were two of you and because you received the blessing you are able to enter heaven through perfecting your personality.

If you don't receive the blessing, no matter how good you lived on earth, because you were unable to sort out the greatest sin, the original sin, you are unable to enter heaven. If you cannot receive the blessing you are unable to enter heaven.

When you return home you must be grateful towards your husband or wife. When you go back home you must be grateful to them, no matter what they might say. Even though you experience pain at home, you must be grateful. You must have calmness in your heart. Do you understand? ("Yes!")

When I see the members who have changed through the 40-day workshop I gain hope.

By the way, after the 40-day Workshop, members are alright for a few months. However, when they pass the 3rd month, there are members who return to their life that centered on fallen nature and questions arouse from around them, like 'Did he (she) really attend the 40-day Workshop?' That mustn't happen.

There are people who say, 'We are human, we cannot help it.' We are people who look alike to God and True Parents. Making this sort of excuse is wrong.

From today it's a new start. Please leave all your past sins in Chung Pyung. Put your past wrongful lives behind in Chung Pyung. Leave all your past negative thoughts in Chung Pyung. Only take thoughts of positive thinking, goodness, and Absolute Faith with you when you return to your homes.

One day, one Church leader experienced the following, when he finished his 40-day Workshop and as soon as he opened his car he heard God's voice, "Take God with you". This means that 'Take all of God's love and heart that you received during the workshop back to your home'. It means to not leave all the grace that you received during the workshop in Chung Pyung.

So what that church leader did was that he went back to the Tree of Love and as he prayed he remembered the grace that he received during the 40-day workshop, how he was grateful to God, and how he understood God's heart and then took all that back to home. We all must do the same thing.
