When I directly attend Dae Mo Nim, she often gives me a good scolding.

I hope that our members could learn Dae Mo Nim's sincere devotion and spirituality, but in reality, there have not been so many opportunities to learn it until now. Therefore, I will give a testimony about Dae Mo Nim's life. Today, I want to give a testimony about Dae Mo Nim's counseling.

Dae Mo Nim has counseled our members on their problems from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm every Sunday at her room behind Chungshim Won prayer room.

If we set a camera in the room, we could know her method of counseling easily. However, she deals with a private issue of our members, so it is done in the closed area. Dae Mo Nim also asks me to go out of the room, but I could hear the sound to some extent from outside. It is our assignment to inherit Dae Mo Nim's methods to solve the problems of our members. I studied counseling at the Sun Moon University for 6 months, but I think Dae Mo Nim's method would be better.

Members can apply to the counseling at 7:00 am on Sunday, and 60~70 members usually apply. The time of counseling is only 4 hours, so it is difficult to meet more than 20 members. Therefore, Dae Mo Nim gives priority to those who have 4 kinds of problems as follows.

First, those who have a serious sickness e.g. cancer.

Second, those who have had major operations e.g. heart surgery or amputation of a limb.

Third, those who have problems related with the Four Position Foundation e.g. sterility or abortion.

Fourth, those who have problems with divorce, spiritual issues, adultery, or second generation blessing problems.

Some members can finish receiving the counseling only once, but others need many times. So, Dae Mo Nim often calls these members.

When Dae Mo Nim went to America, the members who could solve their problems because of Dae Mo Nim came to her, and wept bitterly. True Mother saw that, and praised Dae Mo Nim saying, "Why does Hoon Mo Nim always make our members cry?"

Why could many problems be solved through Dae Mo Nim's counseling? I can pick up following three reasons.

The first is Dae Mo Nim's sympathy with love toward the member who come to her for advice. If some second generation who has a problem comes to her, Dae Mo Nim deeply sympathizes with the second generation who could not but be trampled down by evil spirits, and feel angry at the evil spirits. She sympathizes the second generation as a victim, and cries for the second generation.

The driving force of solving problems is such love. We think we live based on our thinking or will, but, in many cases, we are under the influence of evil spirits, and cannot control ourselves like drunken persons. Deeply sympathizing with such a life, Dae Mo Nim wails more bitterly than the member who has a problem. Dae Mo Nim came out of her room with her eyes swollen. Such fundamental understanding toward a human being is important. I thought that we also should see our members in such a way.

The second is to tell the member make an appropriate indemnity condition to separate from the evil spirits if the member can. Sins and the fallen nature are related with evil spirits. People pay a fine or penalty, or go to jail to compensate their sins or crimes legally in this world. They are making a condition to separate from a binding force of evil in such ways. Even if Dae Mo Nim could see the problems of the person, she never says it directly. Dae Mo Nim waits for the time when the person opens his / her heart and confesses it.

The third are her spiritual eyes. In a sense, it is beyond recent medical science. Once, one woman who was 5-month pregnant asked counseling of Dae Mo Nim. Her medical doctor recommended that she would have an abortion because there was high possibility for the child to become autistic. When Dae Mo Nim saw the unborn baby, its heart was still strong. Therefore, Dae Mo Nim said to the woman, "You can overcome this difficulty. Try to give birth to the baby."

Medical doctors see the invisible world through the data of the ultrasound machine or the test of amniotic fluid, but Dae Mo Nim directly sees the baby through the spiritual eyes. Therefore, I think that Dae Mo Nim's counseling could solve the problem more ideally than medical doctors. The woman gave birth to the child in good condition.

Then, members came to have more trust in Dae Mo Nim.

I have been to Japan as a World Itinerant Worker. When I arrived in Japan, I prayed, "Please let me meet wonderful Japanese who can contribute to God's will." Then, God answered, "Love humble Japanese members in front of you so that they are inspired, and live with heavenly fortune. Through the inspired members, you can meet wonderful Japanese."

When I was in Japan, Dae Mo Nim advised me to counsel our members rather than to give the words for revival. When I sympathized with our members with love, and listened to our members with tears like Dae Mo Nim, a great change was brought about. We easily judge our member when we listen to their mistakes.

However, we can regard the mistake as a result of sins from human ancestors rather than the member's failure in fulfilling their responsibility. If we sympathize with the member from the bottom of our heart and offer sincere devotion, we can solve many problems even though we do not have spiritual eyes like Dae Mo Nim. After I listened to the member for 1 or 2 hours, the face of the member completely changed. Then, the member could start anew with a new determination.

As soon as I reached Japan, I started to offer a condition of sincere devotion of 144 bows every day, and continued the condition more than 1 year until I finish the mission of the World Itinerant Worker in Japan. It was not easy to make a continuous condition in a changeable situation. However, to offer such a continuous condition of sincere devotion has a great power not only to solve your problems but also to counsel our members.

Dae Mo Nim selected Hoon Mo Nim, and first trained her in order to fulfill the mission of spiritual work. Dae Mo Nim made Hoon Mo Nim do total 60,000 bows as sincere devotion. It was also training. Once, I asked Hoon Mo Nim, "With what kind of mind did you offer 60,000 bows?" She answered, "At that time, I felt as if Satan stabbed a knife in my body. I felt if I could not fulfill it, I would die."

Like this, we need to be trained so that we can practice absolute obedience to a direction of God, True Parents, and our mind. Without training, it is difficult for us to practice the direction even though we are given the direction. To offer a continuous condition of sincere devotion is not easy, but it strengthens your power to put what your mind decided into practice. Without training at the risk of life, we cannot nurture our power of practicing. It is not easy to keep Hoon Dok Hae at 5:00 am, but if you offer the sincere devotion continuously, you will be able to do various things. Then, our church can develop.

Question: In this age, it is said that absolute good spirits of our ancestors came to our blessed families. How can we have feeling them?

Answer: We can nurture our feeling using our physical five senses if our spiritual five senses are weak. When Dae Mo Nim lived on earth, she lived always preparing the hanger on which Father could hang his clothes, or the place where Father could sit. Now, our ancestors are with us, so you can prepare the space where they can take off their shoes. Through making this kind of space, we can nurture our feeling for ancestors using our physical five senses.

When we bow to God and True Parents, we can think, "There is not only our family. Now, 1000 ancestors are with us." Don't you think that our attitude toward the bow would be changed when we bow with 1000 people? In our daily life, when wife's parents visit us, our thinking and attitude become different. Through continuing such a life, we come to nurture our spirituality, and can experience our ancestors together with us. A filial child always lives following the parents' desire. We can also live thinking what our ancestors, who live with us, want us to do. Through such a life, we come to experience absolute good spirits living with us.
