Parental Education for Raising 2nd and 3rd Generations - May's Theme: Blessing guidance for the children

Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center and Korea Sunghwa Department have been holding ‘Parental Education’ since March, with a common ground of ‘Before raising 2nd and 3rd generations to leaders of Cheon Il Guk we must first educate the parents’. This ‘Parental Education’ has been held in Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center on an average of once or twice a month, since March this year. Those members who come to attend the Chung Pyung 2-day Special Workshop can also attend the ‘Parental Education’ and already we have received great feedbacks from various parents.

This ‘Parental Education’, held for the 2nd time in May, was held on the 17th in Cheonseong Wanglim Palace (Heavenly Palace) and two lectures came. Professor Taek-yong O, from Sun Moon University Department of Theology, and Mr. In-chun Hwang, in charge of blessing at Korea Family Department, gave lectures on the theme of, ‘Blessing guidance for your child’.

Professor O gave a lecture centering on True Parents words. First, for blessing guidance, “Raising a child until the age of receiving a blessing, you first must educate it to be able to always center on Heavenly Father. Also, you must teach your child that its relationship between Heavenly Father is of a father-son relationship, connected through the lineage. And to protect such lineage, you must educate your child to keep it’s purity until the blessing.”

Also, he talked about the three stages of perfection of dominion. “The first stage is to quickly grasp ‘What’s my child’s strong point?’, and the second stage, the parent must help the child to improve that strong point. And the third stage is to encourage your child to use that talent for the sake of others.”

At the end of his lecture, Professor O said, “Parents showing a life of vertical relationship is the best educations there is.”

Then after Professor O’s lecture, Mr. Hwang gave a humorous lecture on, ‘The present state of preparation for blessings’.

Through this parental education, the participants were able to deepen their understanding for 2nd generation blessings.

“Today’s parental education was really good for child education. I think that parents should come and attend this sort of educations”, said one parent (360,000 Blessed Couples) from Chuncheon, Korea.

The parental education has been held for 4 times until now and we have received very good feedbacks from the members who have attended.
