Praying at the Tree of Loyalty

In the afternoon of July 5, 2008, the members of the 126th Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop for International 2nd Generations gathered around the Tree of Love. Centering on their leaders, the members went to visit each of the 5 trees; Tree of Love, Tree of Blessing, Tree of Loyalty, Tree of All Things, and Tree of Heart, as well as the 2 waters; Water of Life and Water of Heaven.

Equipped with their Workshop Guidebook, leaders lead their fellow members, stopping by at each Tree reading the Guidebook to understand its value and meaning. It was raining really lightly with high humidity rate; however, it didn’t stop the members to go around visiting each holy site of Chung Pyung Holy Ground. This touring also helped the newly made groups to have conversations and unite as a group.

At the end of the tour, each group offered a prayer of gratitude at Jeongshim Won (Prayer Hall). As a group, they offered a certain amount of Jeongseong (Sincere Dedication) for the success of this workshop and the uniting as a group. Groups offered bows from 50 to 120 bows.
