Performance by the Chungshim Band

On July 11, 2008, a Birthday Party for the members of 125th Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop, 44th Special 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives, and the 126th Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop for International 2nd Generation was held at the 2nd floor of Chinhwa Building. All members, totaling around 460 members gathered and celebrated those members who had and were having their birthday during their 40-day Workshop.

The MC for the birthday party was Mr. San-o Kim, lecturer for the Korean team, and he first introduced Rev. Jae-sun Choe, Director for Progress Department, for the opening remarks. Rev. Choe explained the importance of one’s birthday that it is not only to celebrate one’s birth but also a day to be grateful for your parents. “This birthday party is one of a kind. Probably many of you won’t have such birthday celebrating with many brothers and sisters from many different countries in one of the Holy Ground on earth.”

Everyone gathered at 2:30 pm, and in total 8 groups performed. There were various performances from various people, the members got a chance to interact with different cultures and their language. Although the members had few days to prepare, some of the performances were magnificent.

At the end, the Chungshim Band, band of Chung Pyung Staff members, performed 3 songs that entertained the crowd. The vocals were the lecturers from Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center, which made it even better for the members to jump around and have a great fun.

The 125th Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop and 44th Special 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives will finish by July 23. The International 2nd Generation Workshop will end by August 17.
