The ‘World Martial Arts Peace Cup 2008’ was held from October 7 to 17 at Chungshim Youth Center (Chung-a Camp) and from around 80 nations around 250 players attended this festival.
The purpose of the 4th World Martial Arts Peace Cup, is to establish peace through overcoming barriers, nationalities, religion, ideal and so on through various kinds of martial arts.
Fighters that gathered from around the world performed and showed their martial arts for world peace and establishment of a new culture of martial arts. Each faction learnt new things and improved their knowledge of martial arts.
On the 15th, there was a main competition where the fighters had a chance to fight each other in tournaments. There were award ceremonies as well.
On the last day, True Parents held the Morning Hoon Dok Hae at the Chungshim Youth Center and the fighters had a chance to show their martial arts to True Parents.
