2009, Our Ancestors the Absolute Good Spirits New Years Special Celebration Service

On January 26 (New Years according to the lunar calendar), a New Years Special Celebration Service was held for our ancestors, the Absolute Good Spirits, was held from 7:45 am, with Heung Jin Nim and Dae Mo Nim in the Cheonseong Wanglim Palace (Heavenly Palace). These special services are held on religious services. Around 500 members from the 50th Chung Pyung 40-day Special Workshop for Blessed Wives and the 131st Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop gathered to celebrate this special occasion and offer respect to their ancestors.

After the special service, the participants ate delicious Tteokguk (rice cakes boiled with vegetables) in the dining hall and returned to the Small Hall to enjoy Yut festival. The Yut festival was held during the morning and members had a chance to enjoy Korean style new years.

Prior to this gathering, at Dae Mo Nim’s Prayer Room from 7 am, Heung Jin Nim and the True Children from the spirit world, as well as Dae Mo Nim and others, had a special service.
