Ancestor Blessing Ceremony for Generations 1-168
The 3rd day and last day of the ‘2009 4th Purification Azalea Festival for the Inheritance of Heavenly Fortune’ (Purification Azalea Festival), started with International President of FFWPU Hyung Jin Nim’s speech. Originally, Hyung Jin Nim was meant to come and speak to the members the night before, however, due to his busy schedule he couldn’t come but actually sent a video for the members.
Then, after breakfast, there was the ‘Additional’ Ancestor Liberation Ceremony for Generation 1-175 held in the Main Hall. By this day, the number of members gathered in Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center reached to 13,000 people that all the halls, Main Hall, Small Hall of the Cheonseong Wanglim Palace (Heavenly Palace), 2nd floor and 1st basement floor of the Chinhwa Educational Building were used.
Straight after the Ancestor Liberation Ceremony, there was a commemorative photo taking for the Purification Azalea Festival, which was taken right in front of the Chungshim Tower. Then, the Ancestor Blessing Ceremony for Generations 1-168 were held. Usually, the Ancestor Blessing Ceremony is held on the 3rd week of the month, however, for May, it was held during the Purification Azalea Festival.
Straight after the Ancestor Blessing Ceremony, the Prayer-Wish Purification Ceremony for Restoration was held in the space in front of the Tree of Love. (Related Article)
The last photo taking with Dae Mo Nim for the donation of the Original Palace was held in the Small Hall right after the Prayer-Wish Purification Ceremony for Restoration. The official schedule of the Purification Azalea Festival finished with the evening Holy Song Session where almost half of the total number of members remained and received the grace and blessings from heaven to the most.
