Harmony Unification Game Competition - To Commemorate True Parents' 90th Birthday and the 43rd True God's Day

On February 15, 2010, (lunar calendar: January 2), the 'Harmony Unification Game Competition to Commemorate True Parents' 90th Birthday and the 43rd True God's Day' was held at Cheongshim Youth Center with True Parents, Ye Jin Nim, Seon Jin Nim, Hyung Jin Nim's family with around 1,000 members.

As True Parents entered the stage there was offering of flowers to them and the competition began by Rev. Jun-ho Seok, President of FFWPU-Korea, as the MC.

The rule of the game:

1. Each team is made up to 10 people

2. Each person can only throw the ball once towards a circle that has points from 1 to 10

3. The team that gets the highest total points will be the winner

For this competition, there were several teams to participate; the Universal Team (members of the True Family and from the Cheon Jeong Gung Museum), Peace Team (Unification World Head Quarter Church), Harmony Team (Missionary Head Quarters), Unification Team (Korean Church), Absolute Team (organizations), Unique Team (Providential Organizations), Unchanging Team (UPF-Korea), and the Eternal Team (Cheongshim Organizations).

Before the actual competition to begin True Parents came to the sporting ground and played for 4 quarters. For each quarters, True Parents gave the following meanings; Old Testament, New Testament, Complete Testament, and 4th Realm of Adam. Also, after each quarter ended and while they waited for points to be added up, members took the microphone and sang songs; 'Holo Arirang' sang by Rev. Jong-gwan Yu, President of the Citizens Federation for the North-South Unification, 'Arirang' by Re A, Region Leader of Gangbok, 'Thousand Years Rock' by Mrs. Won-ju McDevitt, and 'Korea's Scenery Song' by Rev. Do-sum Lim.

After True Parents' game the official competition took place. The game was played in a tournament style where Universal Team played against Unification Team, Unchanging Team played against Eternal Team, Absolute Team played against Peace Team, Unique Team played against Harmony Team.

After an exciting round of playing, the semifinal was played by the following order; Universal Team against Eternal Team, and Peace Team against Harmony Team. Universal Team won the round against Eternal Team by just 1 point whereas Harmony Team won over Peace Team by a big difference of 32 points.

The finals were played with a different rule where the first team to win two games were to be the winners. As a result after a very exciting round, Harmony Team won 2-0 to Universal Team and became the winners.

As representative of True Parents, Hyung Jin Nim World President gave awards and monetary offering to the winning team.

It was great for members to participate in this competition to really enjoy a game with True Parents and the members of the True Family.
