Coronation for the Establishment of the Abel UN and Luncheon Celebrating the Golden Wedding Anniversary

Heavenly Calendar March 16 (Solar: April 29) 11:00 am, the 'Coronation for the Establishment of the Abel UN and Luncheon Celebrating the Golden Wedding Anniversary' (Luncheon) was held with True Parents and the members of the True Children at Cheonseong Wanglim Palace with around 1,000 guests from around the world.

The luncheon was held in two parts, commemorative ceremony for the first and entertainment for the second part of the Luncheon. The commemorative ceremony was carried by Rev. Hyung Jin Nim, International President of Unification Church, starting with the cutting of the celebratory cake, followed by offering of flowers, report prayer, introduction of the distinguished guests and congratulatory address by Venerable Un San, former president of Taego Buddhism in Korea.

At his congratulatory address, Venerable Un San, started off with, 'I offer my congratulations to True Parents, the true parent and teacher of humanity and I express my deepest respect to True Parents who have offered themselves for the actualization peace ideal world with their own life,' and then followed by the following speech;

'Since the founding of unification church in 1954, right now, there are several thousands of unification members in 194 nations who are attending True Parents doing their best for the fulfillment of heaven's providence. True Parents who was called by God and walked the path of Messiah of humanity is living a life for the perfection of the providence trying not to waste each moment and each second. True Father's life of 90 years was a sublime life to liberate God who burdened the history of sadness and resentment because of the human fall.'

On behalf of True Parents, Rev. Hyo-yul Kim read True Parents' message which was read at the 'Honoring a Legacy of Peace' (UN headquarters, New York (March 18), Washington DC (April 1), New York (April 2), Las Vegas (April 3), Hawaii (April 9), and Korea (April 13)). Before the reading, Rev. Kim explained that True Parents have visited each main cities of Korea and America and gave special words, words like the gospel been given to the humanity for the last time, over a period of 2 months and asked the members to listen carefully for that these words will show the path of eternal life.

Then there was the entertainment for the second part of the Luncheon. 9 teams representing each organization and continents came to the stage showing off their talents to celebrate this great day. The winner for this competition was given to the 2nd Generation choir team from Fukuoka, Japan, who sang two Japanese songs that True Parents love and a traditional Korean song.

The program finished with 3 cheers of Eok-manse by Rev. Dong-han Lee, president of Citizens' Federation for the Reunification of Korea.
