The Words of Dae Mo Nim (Mrs. Hyo Nam Kim - Hoon Mo Nim) |
On August 15, 2010 the closing ceremony for 145th Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop for International Blessed Children and the Japanese Seunghwa Students Special 14-day Chung Pyung Workshop was held in the 2nd floor of the Chinhwa Educational Building with Dae Mo Nim. Even though her very busy schedule it was a miracle for Dae Mo Nim to be able to be there for the closing ceremony and all the members were excited and happy to see her.
The ceremony started from around 10:10 am and after the bowing and reciting the family pledge with a representative from the Japanese Seunghwa Students offered a representative prayer. After a progress report by Rev. Jae-sun Choe, consultation lecturer there was a awarding of the certificates. David Nylen from Sweden represented the International 40-day Workshop and Hee-hwa Yoo from Japan represented the Japanese Seunghwa Students Workshop and received the Certificate of Graduation from Dae Mo Nim.
Then Hitomi Saito from the International side received a honorary award from Dae Mo Nim for her excellent work for the Divine Principle test. In the past week, for the International team there was a DP contest and the winner for brothers team 1 Lukas Kikuchi from USA and sisters team 6 Sarah Lea from USA received the awards from Dae Mo Nim.
After the awarding ceremony, representatives for the Western 40-day Workshop came to the stage and gave a big paper with messages from all the participant of the 2nd generation workshop to Dae Mo Nim.
Dae Mo Nim came to the stage and spoke beautiful words to the members.
"You are the children who do not have the Original Sin. Your parents went through much struggle and constraint, therefore you must praise them and inherit their love and pass it on to your future generation. Always have a good life of faith, go to church and be good sons and daughters. You are students so study is very important and you must become professors in specific fields and become great leaders. I hope to see you next year and please bring all your friends as well."
With 3 cheers of Eok-manse, the graduation ceremony finished. Then Dae Mo Nim came down to the floor and shook hands with all the participating members. Through this shaking of hands Dae Mo Nim bestows Heavenly Fortune and removes any left over spirits in one's body.
We hope to see all the members next year and until then, farewell!
