The following speech was spoken by Dae Mo Nim for the participants of '2011 Summer Sunghwa Students Chung Pyung Special Workshop' at the closing ceremony.
Annyeonghaseyo. How was this workshop? Was it very good?
Heavenly parent said, '2nd generations are very smart children'. I also heard from heavenly parent and True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind that '2nd generations are flower of all flowers, jewelry of all jewelries and love of all loves'. They also explained that '2nd and 3rd generations are precious children'. Wherever I go and meet 2nd generations I always remember that they are 'Precious children'.
Your lifestyle must change by your life of faith. Through the 'Summer Korea, Japan Sunghwa Students Chung Pyung 14-day Workshop' and the 'Summer International Blessed Children 40-day Workshop' we learnt who we are. After we return home our lifestyle must change. You must become members who can pray. From now, you must become members who could offer a bow in front of True Parents after you wake up in the morning. You should offer a prayer saying, 'Good morning!' and 'Thank you for protecting me!'. From today, when you leave for school please say 'I'm going to school now!' to True Parents.
You cannot live as you like back at home. It is because True Parents are there with you. True Parents are living in your home.
Where do you think True Parents would go to? To a home without the original sin? Or to a home with the original sin. He would be going to a home without the original sin. You have to understand that True Parents are there with you at home and so you must change your lifestyle. Before this workshop you didn't know this so yes you might have lived wrongfully however, now you know.
From now, you must greet True Parents, 'Welcome back home!', 'I'm going now!', 'Let's eat!', and 'Thank you very much', and live a life with the heart of gratitude. You should say 'thank you' for being born without the original sin. So you should also have a gratitude towards your parents who gave birth to you without the original sin. Say 'thank you' to your fellow 2nd generations at church. This is the life style of gratitude that you should be practicing.
You mustn't drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes from today. You mustn't do drugs either. This is serious! Whatever you do, these are the things that you mustn't even consider doing.
There are many temptations of alcohol and cigarettes when you go to university. This is the culture of an university. That is why you must have a serious mindset, 'I am a 2nd and 3rd generation without the original sin. I mustn't do this'. You cannot smoke or do drugs and see and touch illicit things nor eat the fruit. Women mustn't look at other men as a partner or touch them before they receive the blessing. Men also mustn't see, touch or cross the line with other women before the blessing. You must not partake in actions such as drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, doing drugs and having illicit relationships.
You are completely different from children outside this church. You don't have the original sin. You must be leading the outside children but you cannot be in a situation of following them. Whatever you are doing you mustn't forget that, 'I am a 2nd and 3rd generation. I am a child without the original sin'.
You were born without the original sin so therefore you must get rid of the fallen nature. You cannot have suspicion, jealousy, rage, vengeance, falseness and greed and lie to people.
If you cannot live a life with pride and confidence as 2nd and 3rd generation then you cannot sever the evil lineage of your ancestors when they lived on earth with the original sin. You cannot sever that vicious cycle of evil. Satan's evil history is a very long history.
Just because you were born without the original sin doesn't mean that you will become beautiful people. That is not the case. You must put some effort. You should have a heart of gratitude towards everything and have absolute faith.
You must go to church. Going to the church will engraft you to absolute faith. If you do not have a passionate life of faith of going to church then you cannot change your wrong doings in the past.
Who are you? You should be studying real hard as you are students right now.
True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind came to this earth to restore humanity. What is the way to restore these people? We must all do witnessing.
You should study real hard and enroll into a good university and work in a very good position as you go out into the society. You should also work hard in God's Will. The church has a future of accomplishing many things because it has you. You can do anything in the society as well as within God's Will.
You who were born without the original sin and who can recreate this world into heavenly parent's world, should be studying real hard as students or should not? You should be studying really hard. You cannot study just because your parents tell you to do so or not study because they don't tell you. You should do it from yourself.
Those who can study have high concentration. Concentration! You need to focus when you listen to what your teacher tells you. You also need this concentration when you come back home from school and do your homework and prepare for the next day. You must have the heart of, 'I have to recreate myself so that I can become a person who will work in the society'.
How old are you now? 13-18 years old? You cannot just take care of how you look. You cannot have 4 or 5 piercings. 1 pair of earrings are enough and you don't need it when you are in junior and high school.
Brothers mustn't have piercings. You cannot pierce your bellybutton or nose. That is what the children in the outside world do.
Women should wear something appropriate as women. You cannot wear something like a no-sleeve shirt. When a woman tries to pick up something, she should always pick it up and try not to show her breast.
You cannot wear tight pants nor have baggie pants which will collect dust and clean the streets.
You cannot dye your head red or yellow and walk in the streets dressed weirdly. If you do so then you will be easily influenced by the outside world. Then, you will commit a sin.
You should start living your life, 'I am a 2nd and 3rd generation. I don't have the original sin' and become members who will once again be beautiful 2nd and 3rd generations. Do you understand? World famous presidents and senators must be produced out of the 2nd and 3rd generations. You should also advance into the legal world and social media. That is why you should be studying real hard. Do you understand? Are you going to study hard now? This is a promise! We made this promise now! Okay?
When I asked heavenly parent, 'Heavenly parent! How smart are the 2nd and 3rd?' and He would reply, 'I made their brain to be smart so that they can be in the top 5 out of their class'. Please become students who will study with the mindset, 'I have to be in the top 5 in my classroom'. Do you understand?
Please do not lean towards the outside world and study hard and have a good life of faith and listen carefully to what your parents say. Leaving you with these words I would like to see you again next year in better conditions.
Please realize that heavenly parent and True Parents are always beside you and do your best. Please become 2nd and 3rd generations who can be loved and fulfill your duty as sons and daughters of filial piety in front of True Parents and your parents who gave birth to you. Gamsahamnida.
