On September 17, under the instruction and guidance of Dae Mo Nim, around 40 staff from Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center and Cheon Jeong Gung Museum did planting at the Cheongshim Peace World Center. Also, on the following day, around 100 members who were attending the 1075th 2-day Workshop also volunteered planting azalea trees.
On September 17, Dae Mo Nim gathered around 40 members from Cheon Jeong Gung Museum and Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center to do planting around the area of Cheongshim Peace World Center. In the front of the Cheongshim Peace World Center, a beautiful park is scheduled to be built and under the instruction of Dae Mo Nim the staff planted flowers and other plants. Dae Mo Nim visited the area with Mr. Ha-gun Im, Cheongshim Peace World Center Promotion Director and Mr. Myeong-ho Choe, Cheongshim Construction Group and gave advices where the flowers and plants should be placed within the park.
Today, the outside building of the Cheongshim Peace World Center is almost completed and the glass that is scheduled to be fitted in around the building is about to be completed. The giant stairs built in front of the entrance of the building is gradually showing itself.
Preparations are being made to hold all the traffic that will come with the 25,000 people. A multi-story car park is being constructed on the left side of the Center which enables the parking of around 300 buses. Also, the road is going to be expanded to 4 lanes instead of 2 lanes. After the completion of the Cheongshim Peace World Center the surrounding roads are planned to be recreated into 10 lanes.
On September 18, around 100 members from the 1075th 2-day Workshop gathered in front of the Tree of Love to do dedication of planting azaleas at the Cheongshim Peace World Center. They planted azaleas in the mountain behind the Cheongshim Peace World Center.
On October 28, 2008, True Parents said the following words at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Cheongshim Peace World Center,
"Before you even knew this place, Heaven had already prepared this place for more than 10 years. When the Cheongshim Peace World Center is completed and is opened to the public, this area will definitely both in name and reality become famous in Korea. Not only Heavenly Fortune will be here but Heaven is working alongside with all the external conditions. Not only would it be a general culture center for the Unification Family but it will also work as a multi-purpose all weather gymnasium which will hold various events. From now, we don't have to go and use the Seoul Olympic Stadium but use this place to give birth to 100,000s of blessed families here. You must send you descendants (children) here."
And ended his speech asking members to participate in completing this construction.
After the groundbreaking ceremony on October 28, 2008, True Parents had given much interest and love and visited many times to the Cheongshim Peace World Center. On October 15, 2010, we invited True Parents and witnessed the first steel-frame truss to be lifted off the ground and to the roof. This steel-frame truss is the biggest in Korea which weighs around 500 tons. Also, on February 4, 2011, the 'Raising of the Roof Ceremony' was held with True Parents and they offered a benediction, "We offer our gratitude to be able to have this Roof Raising Ceremony to Heaven and Earth and as this to be the Product of Heaven and a symbol of love, until that day that this will be offered to Heaven let all the construction be safe and I wish this here in front of you with One Mind and One Body".
