Special Lecture by President Rev. Yeong-hui Kim: 'Let's accomplish God's Will through Witnessing and Ancestor Liberation'

A special lecture by President Rev. Yeong-hui Kim was held in the morning of January 14, the second day of the 'Special Great Works to Commemorate the 17th Anniversary of Chung Pyung Works' (Special Great Works). Rev. Kim entered unification church in 1955 and successfully achieved the 2nd, 4th and 6th President for Korea Church Federation and in 1996 became the national messiah for United Kingdom and has been living a life of serving for over a half of century.

The main hall of the Cheonseong Wanglim Palace (Heavenly Palace) was filled with members wanting to listen to Rev. Kim's special lecture. At 10 am, Rev. Kim was introduced by Rev. Jae-sun Choi, Director for Progress Department, and emphasized the importance of witnessing and ancestor liberation for the success of God's Will. All members attending the lecture listened to the below content for 2 hours.

"Witnessing is about conveying God's Will and making that person into God's person. True Father also witnessed in North Korea. He did it because without witnessing, God's Will cannot be achieved.

The reason why True Father could witness in the Hungnam concentration camp where there was no freedom is due to the fact that he offered sincere devotion where even God and Satan had to be moved. He would wake earlier than anyone at Hungnam concentration camp and would sleep after everyone. He would offer sincere devotion and pray for those he would witness. True Parents witnessed like that and gained 12 disciples at Hungnam concentration camp. Through having 12 disciples he indemnified the condition of Jesus losing 12 of his disciples through the crucifixion.

Even through these you could see the greatness and meaning of this witnessing. The reason why we must witness lies here. This is the same with God and True Parents. It is God's Will to wish for the salvation of humanity. Witnessing is about giving new life and there is nothing more precious than giving new life. Therefore, there is nothing more precious than witnessing. In the first verse of the Family Pledge it says, '…pledges to seek our original homeland and build the Kingdom of God on earth and in heaven, the original ideal of creation.' We must create this original homeland. We must create a land without sin and evil.

In the fifth verse it says, '...pledges to strive every day to advance the unification of the spirit world and the physical world as subject and object partners..'. True Parents came to this land for the unification of the spirit world and the physical world. 'To advance the unification of the spirit world and physical world as subject and object partners' is only possible through Chung Pyung Works. Can you do ancestor liberation and ancestor blessing by your own power? True Parents had been coming to Chung Pyung Holy Ground since the late 1960s and offered sincere devotions and bestowed the name Chung Pyung 'Heaven and Earth' Training Center.

Hereditary sin can only be cleansed through Chung Pyung Works. Hereditary sin is your ancestors' sin. Recently, True Parents has been emphasizing, "You must complete ancestor liberation and ancestor blessing until 210th generation by December 31, 2012". As the world of absolute good spirits expands good will also expand on earth. However, it is still insufficient to grant True Parents' Will. If we do ancestor liberation that itself will help accomplish God's Will.'
