Start of the '2012 Chung Pyung 40-day Special Workshop for International 2nd Generation'

On the 8th day of the 5th month of heavenly calendar (June 27, 2012), the '2012 Chung Pyung 40-day Special Workshop for International 2nd Generation and University' began at the 1st basement floor of Chinhwa Building. Around 100 middle and high school members with 50 university students filled up the hall and attended the opening ceremony.

Before the opening ceremony, there was a 2 hour orientation by a staff from Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center. Through the orientation, the students learnt the history of Chung Pyung Training Center and the various roles that it had in True Parents' providence.

After a brief break, the students gathered back in their lecture hall greeted by Rev. Dong-bae Kim, who is the head of the International Team in Chung Pyung Training Center. Rev. Kim then welcomed Rev. Yeong-ho Ha, the President of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center to give the opening remarks.

Rev. Ha asked the members to remember True Father when he was still very young when he met Jesus Christ and received the great mission. He also told the members that Father before meeting Jesus had already had a clear purpose for his life, to become a famous professor and win the noble prize and such. He emphasized that members should have a clear purpose in their life and wished that they would find such purpose during this workshop. He also explained how God is within each and every person and said that as long as you open your mind and offer sincere devotions then you could feel and hear God speaking to you. He truly wished all the members to meet their God during this workshop and ended his 30 minute speech wishing for the best.

After Rev. Ha's opening remarks Rev. Kim introduced all the staff for this workshop. There is 17 staff that will guide and help all the trainees through their time. Then Mr. In-pyo Moon, lecturer for the International team came to the stage and shared his heart with all the trainees. He also wished for a great workshop and shared his love towards every single person.

From June 27 to August 5, a 40-day workshop and two 21-day workshops will be held. During this time the children will have Divine Principle lectures, Hoon Dok Hae of the Divine Principle, True Parents' Autobiography, Peace Messages and so on. They will also go to Seokcho (Pine Ridge Resort) for 3 days to relax and enjoy the Korean culture. A workshop only for the University students is also held at the same time in a different lecture hall but will join the middle and high school workshop when we go out of Chung Pyung Training Center.
