Thank you for your great work for God's providence at this most historic time. True Father has given directions related to the World Culture and Sports Festival 2001:

Location: New York

Dates of Convocation of World Leaders:

January 29 (arrival) to February 2 (departure)

Convocation Theme: "Dialogue Among Civilizations: The Family and World Peace"

January 29 Arrivals and Opening Banquet

January 30 Conference Sessions at United Nations

Special Blessing (afternoon)

January 31 Conference Sessions at Hotel All Day

February 1 Conference Session at Hotel in Morning

True Parents Birthday Celebration, Performances and Congratulatory Banquet (Manhattan Center)

February 2 Departures

1. Each nation should send 2 - 3 recommendations of their highest level contacts to attend the WCSF 2001 Convocation. Upon approval invitations will be sent. Send recommendations to the IIFWP Headquarters by fax 202-526-6904 or email: iifwp@iifwp.org

2. There will be a special Blessing by True Parents in New York at the time of WCSF 2001. Each nation is expected to be represented by at least one, and possibly three matched couples. Each nation should send the names of three male youth candidates and three female youth candidates for this matching and Blessing. Candidates information must be sent to FFWPUI Headquarters by the end of this year. At this special Blessing the couples will be allowed to wear the traditional wedding garments of their nation/culture.

Also, in each nation, at the same time as the Special Blessing in New York, there should be held a Blessing for youth.
