I pray for God's grace and guidance on all the work you are doing for the task of blessing 360 million couples. Although I know that all leaders and members are uniting their hearts in their efforts to accomplish this work, the results are not reaching a high level. As time is very short, I am asking all leaders to invest their utmost effort to accomplish the responsibility that has been assigned.

Moreover, it has come to my notice that, perhaps due to over- emphasis on the result numbers themselves, some methods being used have departed from the standard of the Blessing. I am aware that your hearts are loyal and sincere before Heaven. As it is True Father's strong direction that we maintain the Principle standard, please be concerned about this, and implement the following directions:

1. Regarding the giving of pre-blessings: Candy, chocolate, cookies, etc., may not be used to convey Holy Wine. It is permissible to mix the Holy Wine in juice. In addition, "pure love candy" (or similar) that includes Holy Wine and is clearly labeled may be used for young, single people, but only as a part of pure love education. It may not be used for giving them the blessing.

2. Please organize so that the 40 million couples who received the pre-blessing last year can receive the blessing prayer to begin family life, and accomplish their 40-day separation condition and the three-day ceremony prior to the Blessing Ceremony coming this June 13.

3. Those who were matched and blessed (i.e. not previously married) in the 40 million couple Blessing should follow the same directions for the standard of their mobilization as was set for the 360,000 couple Blessing in 1995.

4. Single blessings (i.e. for those without a spouse) are not to be included in the results reports.
