At 7:00 p.m. June 6, 2006 the historic event 'Wishing for the Era of Peace and Tranquility of Cheon Il Guk & Citizen's Pledge Ceremony' was held at Cheon Jeong Gung Museum with True Parents and the True Children (Hyo Jin Nim, Hyun Jin Nim, Kook Jin Nim, and Sun Jin Nim). In the Outdoor Plaza of the Cheon Jeong Gung Museum there were around 4,000 members. As much as 20,000 members who gathered from around the world to watch this historic event, filled up the space around the Tree of Love where there were monitors showing the ceremony at Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center.

When True Parents entered the stage at 7:00 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Julian M. Gray (editor of Today's World) presented Congratulatory Flowers. The Opening Remarks was done by Rev. Sun-jo Hwang, president of FFWPU Korea, who is also the emcee of the Ceremony. After the Invocation by Rev. Dae-haeng Yu, General President of FFWPU Japan, Rev. Chung-hwan Kwak, International president of IIFWP, gave the Opening Address. Then the program was followed by the Carrying of Sacred Fire, and then the Simultaneous Lighting of Fire by True Parents.

The Simultaneous Lighting of Sacred Fire represents the 1st stage of the creation of New Heaven and Earth. The Sacred Fire was collected from 4 holy grounds in Korea since June 1. These holy grounds are Mt. Mani in Incheon, the previous Korea Headquarter in Seoul, Beomnetgol holy ground in Busan, and Mt. Bonghwa in Yeosu. The 4 last representative runners from each holy ground brought the Sacred Fire to Cheon Jeong Gung Museum. Then Representatives of Korea, Japan, America, and Europe received the Sacred Fire from the runners and then passed it on to the True Children (Hyo Jin Nim, Hyun Jin Nim, Kook Jin Nim and Sun Jin Nim). Then the True Children passed the Sacred Fire to True Parents. True Parents then lit the substitute Sacred Fire platform, upon rockets blasted out and lit the main Sacred Fire platform.

After the completion of the 1st stage, representing creation of New Heaven and Earth, then it was the 2nd and 3rd stage. This was the 'Dedication and conferment ceremony of Cheon Il Guk Soil and Water'. True Parents received the Holy Soil and Water from the 10 Continental Directors, which they mixed all of it into one big golden ball. After mixing it with the Holy Soil and Water of Chung Pyung holy ground, True Parents then redistributed the soil and water back to the 10 Continental Directors. Although all the members watched the dedication ceremony solemnly, couldn't help but applause through the ceremony due to rising emotion.

Then there was the 'Conferment Ceremony of the Cheon Il Guk Flower' which represents the 4th and 5th stage. These two stages symbolize the creation of animal and plant. True Parents firstly gave a rose (symbolizing Man) and a lily (symbolizing Women) to each 10 Continental Director blessed couples.

As for the last 6th stage the 'Pledge Ceremony for the Citizen's of Cheon Il Guk' was done by 2nd Generations Mr. and Mrs. In-yeong Song, leader of Geumcheon Church in Korea. This stage symbolizes the creation of humankind. All the members repeated the 'I swear'(in Korean) at end of each sentence of the affidavit that Mr. and Mrs. In-yeong Song read.

After the 'Pledge Ceremony for the Citizen's of Cheon Il Guk', the affidavit was then attached to a big balloon, which True Parents released it to the Heavens.

Through the speech True Parents said that God has come down to the earth from the Heavens today. Also True Parents added that the focus of the providence of God has moved from the spirit world to the physical world.

After the speech True Parents gave an earnest Benediction.

After True Parents Benediction, there was a congratulatory performance to congratulate this special day. There were many performances and most of the songs were requests made by True Parents.

After the Congratulatory Performance Rev. Chung-shik Yang, North America Continental Director ended the 'Wishing for the Era of Peace and Tranquility of Cheon Il Guk & Citizen's Pledge Ceremony' with 3 cheers of Eok-manse. The fire works, right after the Eok-manse, were really magnificent and it showed as if that the whole spirit world and physical world were congratulating this special day.
