MEMORANDUM

To: All FFWPU Leaders and Members
From: Dr. Chang Shik Yang and Rev. Michael Jenkins
Date: March 11, 2005
RE: General Directions

Thank you for your efforts, prayers and sacrifice to fulfill the ideals of the Peace Kingdom. Based on the Crown of Peace Ceremony for True Parents a new dispensation has dawned. We have now entered the era in which the substantial realization of the Nation of Cosmic Peace and Unity (Cheon Il Guk – the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth) will become our main focus.

Hoon Dok Hae Church and Tong Ban Kyok Pa: In Korea leaders of all organizations and all blessed families have been asked to return to their hometowns to concentrate on the development of the Hoon Dok Hae church in their own homes centering on their tribe and neighborhood. Tong Ban Kyok Pa roughly translated means "breakthrough on the neighborhood level". It essentially means that every blessed family should bless and educate their relatives and their neighborhood and community. Rev. Kwak has clarified that Tong Ban Kyok Pa should be first our Tribe (relatives), then our neighborhood and community, and thirdly outreach to professionals in the field in which we work. The direction for Blessed Families in America is a little more specific. The direction that True Parents have initiated for America is that Tong Ban Kyok Pa should be fulfilled primarily through "One Family - Three Churches". To do this successfully our FFWPU Headquarters will develop a manual for this outreach. Since America also represents the Second Israel centering on Christianity, ALL blessed families are now to be directly connected to and responsible for three (3) churches each. How we connect to three churches should be somewhat flexible. Ideally we should adopt three churches from the ACLC lists. (Primarily our focus should be on Christian churches; however, it is acceptable to include a mosque and a synagogue as part of your three.) These churches must come from the ACLC list first, then from lists of churches, mosques or synagogues that received the blessing during the 144,000 blessing. Every region should immediately assign churches three churches to each blessed family. This assignment should be completed by March 15 in time for True Parents’ return America.

Prayer Breakfast: True Parents have clarified once again that we must hold regular evangelical meetings for ACLC in every state every month. The main evangelical meeting we are directed to conduct is the prayer breakfast. The prayer breakfast should be held on the same day of each month (e.g., first Tuesday of each month, etc.) This will build a foundation of consistency in which eventually the religious leaders will become aware of this activity and set aside this morning of the month. ACLC National Executive Committee has assigned Bishop Ki Hoon Kim and Rev. Carl Rawls for oversight on this direction and to help each region set this pattern up in each state. They also will be responsible to develop guidelines for the meetings. The Blessed Families who are taking care of three churches should invite the clergy to the monthly prayer breakfast.

Middle East Peace Initiative - The Road to Peace in the Holy Land: The next journey to the Holy Land will be conducted by North America. True Parents have asked that we continuously pursue peace in the Holy Land through our journeys with people of faith. They ask that we focus on key religious and civic leaders from America.
