RE: 2005 Educators Conference at UTS: October 7 – 9, 2005

All Regions Should be Represented

The Fourth Annual Educators Conference will be held on Columbus Day Weekend, October 9-11 at UTS, Barrytown, NY, under the auspices of the Center for Education. This year’s theme is Education that Connects the Family, Church and Community. This annual conference has been designated by National Headquarters as on official event for professional development in our pastoral ministry and religious education. It is a valuable and important educational experience for church leaders, pastors and counselors, youth and family ministers, Sunday School teachers, and every Tribal Messiah wishing to grow as an educator. This formerly national conference now attracts Unificationist participants from around the world. This year, every region should be sure to send its key educational and ministry leaders to participate.

Conference highlights include:

· Three uplifting General Sessions, one featuring Rev. Dr. Michael Jenkins and the other Rev. Dr. Lonnie McLeod. Concluding worship and guidance from Dr. Chang Shik Yang.

· More than 40 breakout sessions offering materials and best practices in 5 areas: Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Young Adult Ministry, Family Ministry and Pastoral Education.

· Multimedia presentations; music, images, drama; successful models of Unificationist ministry from around the US and internationally, with many 2nd generation presenters.

· Two pre-conference workshops are available for Youth Ministry Certification or Family and Marriage Counseling. For those pursuing degrees or professional development, both qualify for Continuing Education Credits offered through UTS’s Center for Education.

Most important will be the opportunity for participants to fellowship with and learn from grassroots ministry leaders from across America. All are welcome, but every region should be certain to scholarship and send its key youth ministry, Sunday School, and pastoral ministry leaders. Conference registration is extremely reasonable, and discounts are offered for registration by September 25th or for groups of 10 or more. For conference details and online registration visit: http://www.centerforeducation.net/. Let us invest in the personal and educational development of our members and leaders.

Sincerely,
