Chairman Kuboki of the Japanese IFVC Visits Korean President Park and Korean Speaker Hyo Sang Lee

Mr. Kuboki met with President Chung Hee Park, of the Republic of Korea

On September 2nd, 1970, Chairman Osami Kuboki, of the Japanese International Federation for Victory Over Communism paid a courtesy call to President Chung Hee Park, of the Republic of Korea, at the Blue House. (Chong Wa Dae) Major matters, including the WACL Conference in Tokyo, Japan, were hotly discussed.

He handed the autographed letter of ex-Premier Nobusuke Kishi, concerning WACL, to the President.

The Chairman of the Executive Board, 4th WACL Conference, said that currently, the Japanese Government struggles with the activities of the Union of Korean Residents in Japan, the core of the communist movement within Japan, and it's urgent for the Republic of Korea to provide positive cooperation and support to the Association of Korean Residents in Japan.

He also accentuated the necessity of close coordination between Japan's International Federation for Victory Over Communism and the Association for the Hindrance of the Communist Movement.

President Park told him that he was deeply touched by the passionate activities of J-IFVC members and particularly by the procuring 500,000 dollars of fund for the conference, and he was in raptures, as the President of Korea, in hearing the uprising of the anti-communist movement in Japan.

On September 4th, Mr. Kuboki visited Speaker Hyo Sang Lee of the National Assembly, Director Kye Won Kim of the Central Intelligence Agency, and Acting Chairman Chi Young Yoon of the Democratic Republican Party.
