Since Father had said he wanted to start Hoon Dok Hae earlier that day, Rev. Yong Hyeon Moon, his wife, Dr. Peter Kim, and others were standing in the room at 4:25 a.m., waiting for Father. Right after he entered the room, he said everybody would go for fishing, and therefore there was no Hoon Dok Hae there.
It was cold and foggy and everybody was inside the cabin of the boat on the way to the fishing spot. It was when the boat was close to Sosam Island and they were casting anchor there that Father gave Dr. Peter Kim a direction regarding the dinner that was planned to take place that night at the Cheon Jeong Gung in honor of Seong Nam Il Hwa's championship in the AFC Champions League. Father said the dinner must be joined by the Korean government officials as well as Abel UN leaders of each nation. Dr. Peter Kim said he had thought the dinner was just for the celebration of the victory of the team. But Father said the victory should not celebrated on such a level and told him to go back to Seoul by the first available airplane and prepare well with Rev. Seon Jo Hwang to meet that standard.
Naomi, who is the wife of the boat's captain Mr. In Soo Kin, came with a small boat to bring breakfast to them. Dr. Peter Kim went back to Geo Moon Island with her and flew to Yeo by helicopter and from there to Seoul by airplane.
Father ate breakfast with them and fished. The temperature of the water was too low and they could not catch any fish there. The boat moved in front of Bek Island but they could catch only one red sea bream.
At around 1:00 p.m. Father left Geo Moon Island by helicopter and he ate lunch while flying. After the flight of one hour and half, Father arrived at Chung Pyung.
At the dinner, the team offered True Parents their reward of $1,550,000 (besides the team had received $710,000 as funding for the team) from Toyota, and a soccer ball signed by all the players and staff. All the participants enjoyed the performance by the coach, his wife, and the athletes. True Parents encouraged and gave a gift to each of them and it was remarkable that Father again encourage the coach Tae Yong Shin and his wife just before Father left the room.
After the dinner, Unification Church members enjoyed time with the famous athletes, talking with them asking them for their autographs.
