That day, 110 Japanese members from the Fukushima and Miyagi regions joined Hoon Dok Hae. Before the meeting a representative couple offered True Parents two sets of origami cranes (a total of 10,000 cranes).
After Mrs. McDevitt read Father's speech, Father spoke.
"What is good? What is bad? A good person is one who goes to God first. In the Garden of Eden, (Adam and Eve) left the center (God). Since they left the center, they do not know the center."
"In the spirit world, there is the mother tongue."
"Does God, who exists alone, and when does he exist as Man or Woman? Why is a woman is shorter than a man? This means women must grow bigger and since they are smaller they give birth to children and stay on top of them."
"It is not the Seunghwa ceremony, but the Sunghwa Ye Shik that one has to do before dying."
"My two elder brothers died. My younger brother, whose name is Yong Gwan, died when he was 8 years old. He loved his elder brother (Father) so much and (before he died) he said to me holding my hand, elder brother, I will die before you," and I cannot forget that. (Father holds back his tears) I loved him so much. My aunt gave me bread and I wanted him to eat it and I waited all night to give it to him, but he died without eating it. I cannot forget that."
A choir team of the 2nd gen sang a song and True Parents and all sang The Path of God's Will. True Mother sang in Japanese (the song "Hometown") to which Father and all joined singing.
