That day, 21 CARP leaders and 16 members from Korea and Japan participated. They all had participated at a 2-day seminar (in which they learned to overcome atheism) in Korea and a 3-day seminar in Las Vegas, and prior to the workshops, they read again Father's autobiography, prayed six times a day, and offered 120 bows for 120 days. True Parents warmly welcomed them, and then for educational purposes, Father told Rev. Jeong Soon Jo, Rev. Chang Shik Yang, and Rev. Jeong Og Yu to make a report on what True Parents have been doing there.
Then Father said the following. "Under complicated circumstances, think big rather than small. Form a network through your relationships and educate them. The final goal is education. Young people will have difficulties working if they (don't?) know too much. [Editor added don't based on the sentence context] Work hard when you do not know much. There is a specific responsibility that is related to each of you."
"Are money, knowledge, and power precious? They all start within a family, and the family starts from me. You are not alone living in a family. You must form with other family members the unification of up and below, right and left, and front and rear. How can you make such a relationship in a family? Centering on true love, unification is realized. There is no boundary in such a world. It must be transparent like a lens." "Is your environment for your sake or for the whole? God also needs an environment where humankind is restored."
"The world persecuted me more than anybody else to eliminate me. The good continues to have difficulties in the evil world. How can you put this evil world under control? From where? With what? When one says 'The kingdom of heaven is realized' and the environment is not accompanied with it, what will happen?"
When you talk about love centering on a relationship, it is categorized into 'your love,' 'my love,' 'our love' and 'their love.'
"Do you like me, love me or miss me?" "In believing in the Unification church, which is more precious, my words or myself? Which is more precious: Rev. Moon when he was younger, or Rev. Moon when he was older? The older Rev. Moon is more precious than the younger one."
"Have you had an experience of missing something? You must miss the Unification church. Do not miss studying or your promotion in society but miss love.
I like to give more than to receive. I like to give to others and forget it rather than to receive. Those who do not have any clothes to put on but yet still want to give to others will never perish. A beggar who wants to help others will be a king among beggars. Those who want to be the center in a nation are the persons who continue to give even for thousands of years, and then people will start to do the same." "For who are you married? Not for yourself, but for the nation and the world."
"On Aug. 18, I will have a launching ceremony of a new boat. I have been preparing to make the boat for 50 years."
"Do not owe others but be owed. I have lived that way and if you live so, you become serious every single day."
"The words 'true love' are scary. I unified the spirit and physical world with the words of true love. I am 93 years old now and if I start my course again now, it will be only true love that I can leave behind. Your future is bright and be someone who can give anything."
After the meeting, the participants introduced themselves to True Parents. When Father was leaving for the Hoover Dam (it was almost 40c degrees), he said in the car, "Go back and work hard. How wonderful it is that you are young."
