The Words of Sun Myung Moon from 2011 |
Note: These notes are taken from a Peace TV video clip. They cannot be published as definitive texts and should never be used in the future as an "official" publication of True Father's words. However, they do provide a good idea of the "spirit" of the message. -- Rev. Katsumi Kambashi
Mrs. McDevitt read Father's speech titled "Path of the Pioneer" given on April 12, 1970.
(Opening his speech file and talking about the sub-header on page 61, which is "Seonghwa Ceremony of the New World and the World Federation of the New Tribal Messiah")
"I changed the Seunghwa ceremony to Seonghwa ceremony. The second thing is the tradition of the World Federation of the New Tribal Messiah, and so there are only these two paths for us to go to the spirit world. I clearly presented them in this speech and my text books and teaching materials."
The character Hwa (change) in Jinhwa (evolution) should be the character Hwa (harmony). It is not change but harmony!. (Those who use change are) crazy people! The principle doesn't change but creates harmony, and so it should be harmony. Likewise the character Hwa in Moon-Hwa (culture) should be harmony not change.
In our life, we eat with chopsticks and spoons, go to the bathroom, die and leave offspring, which are fundamental and are never changed. The spirit comes first, not material. The words I used by my age of 17, at which Adam and Eve fell, are all based on the principle, which don't change in all four directions, east, west, south and north. How precious those words are that were created while communicating with God. (Touching behind his ears) You have dimples here and God made those for us to put the temples of our glasses on ears."
"This time I taught for the first time the 'Prayer of the Messiah of the Second Coming,' which is '(Katsumi: I couldn't understand the former part.' Then 'England, USA, France, Japan, Germany, Italy. The God of Night and the God of Day that have been separate, become one through the settlement of the True Parents.' All these have been achieved. You don't understand what I just said, do you? I have been thinking about these every single day."
