The Words of the Sun Myung Moon from 2007 |

Myung Moon August 8, 2010
This morning Father asked Rev. Jung Rho Yoon to do the ki (energy flow) experiment with the participants. He also had Ms. Yeon Sil Yang conduct this experiment on Rev. Sun Jo Hwang. After the experiments Ms. Yang read the spirit world messages. The morning session ended in just one hour.
In the morning Father went out fishing and returned at around noon. At 3:00 p.m. leaders and ambassadors for peace from Korea and Japan arrived at a Geomundo on a ferry.
At 7:00 p.m. the 'Opening Ceremony for the Convention Marking the Establishment of the Abel UN' was held on the 'Baekdo Tour Ferry' by the Geomundo harbor. This ceremony signaled the start of six-day convention that will take place at Cheonghae Garden from the 23rd to the 28th. Over 160 participants will be taking part in this convention hosted by the Universal Peace Federation.
Rev. Sun Jo Hwang served as the emcee for the opening ceremony. Rev. Dow Soon Lym offered a prayer to start the program. Guests of honor were introduced. Rev. Chung Hwan Kwak gave the welcoming address. In his address he explained the events and achievements that led up to the establishment of the Abel UN.
Father was then welcomed to the podium and delivered the keynote speech, "A Providential View of the Pacific Rim Era in Light of God's Will: The United States and the Future Direction of the United Nations and the World."
Before reading from his script Father spoke in length about a few points.
Those who have conflict between their mind and body cannot enter heaven. All existing things were created in pairs. God does not have a place that he can call His homeland; nor does He have anyone whom He can call His children. I've come this far with God's dream yet I do not have a hometown or homeland. In that sense, my situation is similar to that of God. If I hadn't known God I'm sure I could have become the president of this nation more than enough times. I know the vast secrets of this world. I can survive even if the world should oppose me.
The people here today are all handsome than me and younger than me. If you can live with God in your nation and hometown, that will be enough.
There must first be a family that can act like an owner who upholds and serves God with their parents and family. From that family God's homeland will emerge. From such children God's homeland will emerge. I hope that you can become such people with that new determination. We are holding this event on a boat, like the ark of Noah. I hope you can become people that will remain in the pages of history. Say Geomundo. (Geomundo!) The Chinese character 'geo' means 'large', 'mun' means 'letter', and 'do' actually should have been the character meaning 'path' but its used as 'island' in this case.
[At the end of the program Rev. Yoon guided the participants in three cheers of eok-mansei. The entire ceremony ended at 10:15 p.m.]
