Annual European Conference, Essen, Germany in the Meeting Hall
Dear Mr. [Young Hwi] Kim,
How much has happened since my last report and how impressing were the great victories of our Heavenly Father and the True Parents: the battle against communism in Japan, the blessing in Korea and the second European conference in Essen, Germany giving us so many new ideas for Father's work in the world.
With deep gratitude I recognize more and more that this new life is full of ever new possibilities, and I feel moved by the depths and clarity of the Divine Principles. Although there were four days of the European conference in Essen passed very quickly, they were filled with joy, gratitude and love so that we could return to our countries with new courage and strength.
Here I experienced in the last weeks that people become more and more aware of the "signs of the time so that from this point of view I have good possibilities to start a discussion. I could talk with many young girls and boys either on the street or in groups or at home and feel happy about every positive conversation and every sign of confidence, because confidence is most important for winning people.

Annual European Conference. Singing and sharing together
There are especially three young girls with whom I am regularly in contact, we meet twice a week. Since for my work with the students it is necessary to have Miss Kim's new book in Swedish, Margo and I started to translate it and are very glad about it and are learning a lot.
With 8 days of fasting I will help to restore this country, and whenever there are problems to overcome I think of our Heavenly Father and the True Parents. How great must be their heart with all that love and consideration for all their children I'm sorry that mankind must suffer of spiritual and physical hunger and thirst, and do look forward for the day when all are happy by reaching the aim through the absolute truth. 0 that they might listen, inwardly and outwardly!
But how wonderful it is to know that the erection of God's Kingdom is not only hope but certainty, and this certainty makes us happy and infinitely thankful.
In the Name of the true Parents
