Dearest brothers and sisters,

Happy God's Day and new year. I pray that God's love, blessings and protection will reach all brothers and sisters and blessed families in North America.

1995 is a very significant year, a historical turning point. This is in particular because it is the 50th anniversary of the end of World War 2. If fifty years ago, the Christian powers--the allied nations-- had accepted and supported True Father, world peace and harmony already would have been fulfilled, and God's kingdom would have appeared on earth by now.

But this providence failed, and Father had to go the 40 years wilderness course, retrieving the victory which Satan attempted to destroy. Thus God has the foundation to restart the worldwide dispensation for victory.

Let us realize that from now until the year 2000 will be years of tribulation. This means it is the time of the final turning from the power of evil to the power of goodness, and for the appearance of the Kingdom of God on earth. For this purpose, Father presented, before his midnight speech on January 1, the motto for 1995, "Let Us Inherit True Parents' Realm of Victory".

What is True Parents' realm of victory? Everything was lost due to the false parents, and now the True Parents, who are the opposite of the false parents, have reclaimed what was lost, on the level of the individual, family, nation and world. They paid the indemnity and brought back the victory for perfection of Adam's family's, Noah's family's, Abraham's family, Moses' family, and Jesus' family. These patriarchs' had the providential goal including family perfection, because that is what Adam's family lost through Satan's invasion.

Therefore we are called, as blessed families throughout 160 nations, centering on true love, life and lineage, and the tradition of True Parents and True Family, to live prayerfully and work hard. Then the first, second and third generations will grow up very well. This true seed of life will automatically expand and multiply, like the leaven which leavens the whole loaf.

There are two aspects of what we should inherit as True Parents' realm of victory. First is what True Parents have actually accomplished, their substantial foundation including True Parents' heavenly tradition, established through their blood, sweat and tears. Second is that which lies ahead of us in the Providence, that which Father has not yet fulfilled, but is still working toward. This is to inherit responsibility for the providence of God. This second point is actually the substantial sovereignty on earth; God's kingdom on earth. This means the unified world.

This inheritance, on both counts, comes about on the foundation of and in the context of the Family Pledge. I will review the simplified, main points of that pledge, in which every point is preceded by the affirmation of our existence as a family centering on true love. Number one, we will return back to the original hometown. Two, we will become people of filial piety and loyalty. Three, we will establish a society, nation, world and cosmos in the form of an expanded family. Four, we will bind together heaven and earth. Five, by doing this, we will establish a world of freedom, peace, unification and happiness. Six, we will make the organization to spread this blessing to others. Seven, we will establish the world of the original, heartistic culture.

For that to be accomplished, centering on True Parents, we need absolute faith in God and True Parents and absolute love for God and True Parents. This is the foundation of faith and substance, which becomes the foundation to receive the Messiah.

We must fulfill the content of the Family Pledge. Through this, we can make the global family and global village. That is the foundation for the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. For that purpose, Father has created the realm for the blessing of 360,000 couples on August 25, 1995. This is taking place during the second World Culture and Sports Festival. You will be hearing very much about this world-level event in the coming months. Despite its great enormity of scale, please remember that it is based upon God's heart and hope for humankind, centering on the Blessing.

We are witnessing and educating with all our hearts in order to invite people to this heavenly marriage banquet. The Family Federation for Unification and World Peace is serving as the organization through which the major outreach for the Blessing will take place in North America. They are developing an educational and media program, educational programs for our first and second generation, and workshops for blessing candidates and for the purpose of introducing the blessing to those who might recognize its eternal value.

As was introduced with the Blessing in Seoul, Korea, in 1992, there will be an expanded use of satellite transmission to enable people throughout the world to participate in the Blessing in their own localities, without traveling to Korea. Through the auspices of local Unification Church and Family Federation leaders, people will be able to receive the Blessing in a convenient location, simultaneously with those who gather in Korea.

To kick-off our 1995 activities leading up to the WCSF and Blessing, we are fortunate that Father will bring 4,000 Japanese women to Washington DC, our nation's capitol, between January 22 and March 11. Father is also inviting the wives of Christian ministers, and other women leaders in America, to create the engagement in a sisterhood relationship with these Japanese women. This is one example of the settlement of world peace to take place between now and the year 200, between Japan and America. Through this, Reverend Sun Myung Moon and ourselves become peacemakers, as is foretold in Isaiah 9:6-7.

For this women's program, Japan is chartering airplanes. We should work with enthusiasm domestically to bring wonderful women to participate from America.

Also, I have some news to share. Rev. Chung Hwan Kwak, Director of the World Mission Department, recently announced that Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean now are part of the North American Continent in our church spiritual and external structure. So we are called to enlarge our embrace, and to work together to create a model of victory.

After God's Day, Father explained the relationship between the continents of North America and South America. First, he said, Father himself stands in the Abel (+) position in relation to the 16 nations which participated under the banner of the United Nations in the Korean War, which are in the Cain ( ) position, or bride's position. This has not been substantiated yet, so at this time this unified position is represented by the Unification Church (representing the Completed Testament Age). Then these two positions together, represented now by the Unification Church, takes the Abel (+) position to North America (representing Protestantism), as Cain (-). If North America and Father unite well, then they together can stand in the Abel position to South America (representing Catholicism), as Cain (-).

To practice this providence, Father has matched the 50 states of the United States, representing North America, with the 27 states of Brazil, representing South America, in a sister relationship. An International Exchange Program (I.E.P.) will be planned for this coming summer, through which members from the United States can spend time in Brazil. Specific directions about this activity will be forthcoming.

Also, Father is establishing in Paraguay a 370,000 acre piece of land to be dedicated to the establishment of a model for an international community of nations. In effect, this is to serve as a model for an ideal, international and interracial nation and world. In terms of practical activities, it will be centered on farming and ranching. Its purpose will include education for people from underdeveloped regions of the world in agricultural and ranching techniques, which they can take back to help alleviate hunger in their homelands.

I also want to convey the general outline of the vision of Principle which Father shared during the world leadership conference after True God's Day.

Instructions:

1. Centering on true love, establish the true family.
2. Centering on true love, establish the true nation.
3. Centering on true love, establish the true world.
4. Centering on true love, establish the true kingdom of heaven on earth and in heaven.
5. Centering on true love, liberate God and True Parents.
6. Centering on true love, create the fullness of victory and the glory of heaven and earth.

As you can see, the providence of God is providing us many opportunities and challenges for this new year. Through dedication to this providence, we can fulfill our ideals of unification of mind and body, husband and wife, parents and children, and our tribal foundation. Let us practice absolute love with absolute faith in God and our True Parents. With our hearts, minds and bodies united, even at the cost of great sacrifice, we will be able to fulfill our responsibility representing North America.
