I want to share an experience we had with In-Jin-nim today.
In her sermon In-Jin-nim explained that her flight from Las Vegas was delayed for four hours.
So she arrived in New York around 4:00 am this morning. The production crew was prepared to show a video of In-Jin-nim's sermon from Nigeria, because it would have been understandable if she was too exhausted to be in her best form to give a sermon.
In-Jin-nim did speak today for about an hour. Today was my turn to do the meet and greet photos and I was pretty sure there would be none because I was sure she would depart immediately after her sermon to get some rest.
Well, I was wrong (as usual) and she stayed for about 90 minutes greeting every single person that wanted to meet her. I took about 400 pics. There were a lot of folks from both the Women's Federation conference and the middle school camp.
I know that we all have had to do a lot with little sleep and perhaps this was not a world record, but what did impress me so much was that In-Jin-nim was just radiating energy and love to every one of several hundred people without any hint that she could possibly be even a little bit tired.
A new thing started spontaneously, one of the middle school camp kids asked In-Jin-nim to sign their camp Tee shirt. Well before she left, I think I took photos of In-Jin-nim signing at least 50 middle school BC's tee shirts. To be clear they were wearing the tee shirts and each one had a preference to where the signature would be. This took a lot of time and effort and was a pretty skin-touch experience, such heart!
Somehow I believe that she hasn't taken a break yet to rest.
